It wasnt just the word trade centre, was the archives and records building that suddenly collapsed to the ground in all the style of a controlled explosion while buildings on all sides remained upright. I do beleive the planes were a result of terrorist attacks, but much of what went on was not down to those two planes, but a preplanned, co-ordinated action. The september 11th attacks were not a surprise to elements within the US, and they were exploited.

Bin Laden is a wonderful political opportunity for President Obama when his public favour is at an all time low. Nothing like killing an enemy of america to boost your public ratings.

Like many other british pacifists I beleieve that america have dragged us into wars in Iraq and Afghanistan for their own purposes. Iraq in the name of freedom when really it was about the oil fields and the original excuse for entering afghanistan was "bin laden is hiding in the caves". This from a country that continued to supply arms to Israel to allow them to contue their own form of terrorism against those in the gaza strip.

I do however appreciate that there are a large number of Americans who also find their own countries behaviour despicable.

I don't understand. I ausume you are living in Britain. People in the US are not dancing in the streets, the war is not over.
I flew into Gatwcik in Jan.85.Landed got out into terminal after customs and saw8 Brit. sodiers standing on balcony,ready for acrtion.I saw a commando in Paris with UZI ready at the Israeli empassy. I was pulled off a train crossing border,FRANCE/ITALY almost everyone was strip seached, 5;31 am. I was evacuated from the Pompedou Museum Paris and saw street vendors runningacross the plaza from the building.
Believe, we in the USA are sober, we see the reality. After 911 we lost a lot of freedoms, freedoms you had lost before I visited your country in 1985. Now we may have less freedoms than your country.
Individuals like Bin Laden have taken much from us and our children. Still we in the USA are a positive group. Please, learn from us.

Well, for sure most people in the U.S. are not dancing in the streets as the uninformed would believe or have been led to believe. But are happy justice has been served, thanks to those specially trained young men who have put the bit between their teeth and their shoulder to the plough.

I am a pacifist also. Everytime I travel though I realize there is a war going on, it is not a joke and we are sacrificing. We can sit in our little cyber space chat room and get all cozy, but my friend it is a big bad world out there.

And if so, why not just say that?) Then we were told he held his wife in front of him as a human shield. Now we're told he didn't. We were told he was shot twice in the head, now it's once in the head and once in the chest. They had his body, how did they get that wrong and now get it right, when the body's already gone?

lets face it, there was never any intention to catch him alive.

Firstly they didnt need the charade of a trial and all the rigmarole that goes with it (and opportunities for Bin Laden to speak), and secondly, if he had been captive of the Americans we would likely have seen a spate of kidnappings all over the middle east with various extremist groups hoping to trade captured americans for Bin Laden.

The intention would always have been a nice clean assasination (albeit in a foreign country without the knowledge or permission of that countries government) and then the body disposed of where there could be no grave for his followers to visit.

Ahh, the public transport. That and electricity runs efficient cities with the coal fields and oil wells conveniently beyond your horizon. So theyve killed the bloke accused of plotting the 9/11 attacks, when in reality although he may have sent the planes, he certainly didnt have anything to do with the sudden collapse of three different buildings. The americans need to look closer to home for the true perpetrators.

So now everything is rosy, Bin Laden is dead, terrorism is over, and all the deaths and money spent in tracking him down to a semi detached house in ****stan has been proven worthwhile.

And the americans can all dance on the streets saying what a wonderful job their armed forces did and celebrate his death with parties and dancing. (the scenes from america looked remarkably like the scenes you see in eastern countries when they go burning american flags)

Bin Laden is dead, Obama is a pillock, Bush is an even bigger pillock and the american people have made complete arses of themselves.

In hindsight, listening to Neville Chamberlain state that Adolf Hitler appears to be"a man who could be relied upon when he gives his word." I could never have faith in such a weak spined individual such as Chamberlain.

First the towers, then when Osama out-lived his usefulness, he's gone. Soon Lance will have destabilized all the word's economies, so he can own the Tour, then France. Then he'll get back his 1999 urine samples. But he won't stop until he has your urine. Well clearly that's definitive proof. Is the alleged plane that hit the pentagon now kept at area 51 [along with all the passengers]? And we're so awesome that our mind rays fooled the eye witnesses outside the P-gon in to believing they actually say a plane hit when it clearly didn't.

Oh wait! Seeing as a plane traveling 200 mph [for example] is traveling over 300 feet per second that just might explain why you don't see a plane lumbering through the security camera pics. And why does the camera footage show 17:37:19 seconds twice? It's not good to use possibly altered material when you're trying to prove altering events. But if you found that on the Internet it's gotta be real, right? Reminds me of the brain trust that thought the pic of the Obama's hold their left hands over their hearts was real.

Gross generalization about Americans are such a lame cliche. But it's all some people have. Sad.
