Anybody knows why he DNF in Montreal?… Thanks in advance
He was feeling sick was the announcement from the team mid-race. I don't know if they've made a statement afterwards.Anybody knows why he DNF in Montreal?… Thanks in advance
Difficult to finish a race when the Giro took out all of your eyes.Girmay DNF today in Valenciana… Strange. He is in good shape actually. Maybe a crash?
All of his eyes? How many does he have...Difficult to finish a race when the Giro took out all of your eyes.
The team said he was suffering from a headache, he’s now heading back home to prepare for the classics.Girmay DNF today in Valenciana… Strange. He is in good shape actually. Maybe a crash?
He might be nice to the competition, and not win all the races.I really hope his eyes can survive all these races.
Agreed. He's been over-hyped on what he's done to date - He's not yet at the same level as the BIG riders.
Disagreed.everytime he has won hes won from sitting on wheel with zero contribute and winning in a sprint....DEFINITION of over hyped - mediocer rider nothing more ..
this is my profile and theres nothing to tone down. if you disagree doesnt matter at all cause its simply the truth of what have accured nothing to be mad about.Disagreed.
And could you please tone it down a bit? Or just revert back to your original profile.
Here you can see he was in front of the bigger group with Asgreen, Valter, Politt, etc.

Wonder how he will perform in shite wheather on Sunday......One year ago, the same weekend brought him 5th in E3, before he won Wevelgem.
So I hope Biniam has a similarly good weekend… Fingers crossed
I think the one on the attack might be Rota, who wasn't caught on footage on that video and finished just behind Girmay. After Trentin lets 8 riders get a gap (7 of the top-8 plus Wellens), only Powless, Turgis, Stuyven, and Alaphilippe get away from the peloton. It's not surprising that he wasn't strong enough for that, he wasn't last year neither.
My guess would be that he tried hard on the Poggio, but just couldn't make it, and that was the reason why he either didn't sprint or was too gassed to do so properly.
So he attacks out of the group on the descent just at this exact spot! That explains why he didn't sprint after he was caught.
