Well Tour is coming, they are raising form :D

Only thing more strange than that would be a Lotto win.

Kroon is good, well that's a relief for BMC, at least one of their guys not failing.

Ironically, he had to be Dutch, just to annoy ACF94

Real quality group off the front of the peloton, but where are they going?

Yeah Kroon off the front and another BMC straight out the back!
Leukemans still going strong.......

Glibert , Leukemans coming through big style.

Yep... With 30kms left to go. Quite some effort Gilbert is setting himself up for.

Also Kroon is alive, appartantly.... Who knew?

Ooh, a small group of Kroon, Gilbert, Leukemans and Freire have put a small gap between them and the rest of the peloton.

Would be an interesting sprint between Freire and Gilbert

Well it's a hilly course, you can't count the same way as on the flat Timmy.

But it will be very hard. They will need a miracle

When was the break established?

Freire not good enough, while being a clear favorite? Other teams forced RAB to control the race. They didn't and so no one really stepped up to the plate? Is that the scenario?

It was originally a break of 6 that was established before streaming began, so those three have been part of the break for over 70kms, if not more. The group of six had over 8 minutes on the peloton at one time.

I considered the profile, but they really aren't making a lot of progress to be fair...

Kroon has always been a one-shot guy. A second attack usually kills him off pretty good.

Now we just wait for his traditional "I had great legs, but..." comments.

Why is QuickStep pulling?

Possibly to neutralize the little group and then just stop pulling. Thus kill any momentum those guys had, and cause a delay for a short time. Other then that... I dunno..

Congrats to the 3 in front, well ridden. Peloton underestimated them and lost

Always cool to see a semi-classic end this way. 'Real' classics not so much.
