Investigate fearlessly and take agreed action should concerns emerge...

I know he's a doper but he's one of my favourite riders he rides to win every time so I'm sad to see him go:( if the ban is upheld

How can one enjoy something that you know isn't real?...

What he enjoys is stolen from those who are more worthy.

A bike race with no drug cheats in it looks the same- just slightly slower and different faces at the front.... the drama is still there.

This entire Val-piti intent to ban him is a joke-now ASO is OK'ing him to ride their races while the investigation is finalized..... at this point I'd love to see him "Winning the TDF while lifting the middle finger at CAS & CONI" just to see WTF they can do about it....

Hmmmm....put like that... the drama would spectacularly over and above what bike racing would ordinarily provide...

I must admit- I'd like to see that too

The hilarity! Actually, he should be leading the TdF, in the yellow, and then have the case come to a close and be DQ'd. That would be like a double (or triple) justice.

More honestly, the quicker he goes for at least a one year vacation, the better the sport looks.

Those who have paid a lot of money to go to paris might disagree

I don't see what the problem is. Armstrong will be at the Tour. Why not Piti? At least he adds excitement. Since the ASO no longer cares about doping, it makes no sense to stop Valverde from racing.

And so will Basso, Contador etc.

Basso served his ban though..

Armstrong is only riding because of loopholes (99 positives). If Piti is at the Tour, I will be doing something else in the month of July.

Just thinking here, and I realize this is "off-topic" but has it been considered that Mr. LA's "retirement" was taken as a gentleman's agreement to take a self-imposed exit, a sort of pseudo-suspension, for those 99 positives?

It would not be something I would toss out to consider but when he decided to return it got me thinking.

Colm, yes, it has been suggested that Lance accepted a Michael Jordan type of agreement. Retirement for a couple years in exchange for burying his indiscretions.
