Forgive me breaking the flow of lists but isn't burrow just some minor league Brit who rode for some smaller teams, lived in Italy for a while and is now back in Blighty?

What is his connection? I have heard his name in connection to British riders heavily juicing though.

Jamie Burrow won Ronde de l'Izard, 1999. He took down Pantani's record of Paleau de Belle I believe, and I think he still holds the record for the climb. Rode for an Italian team. In the same race, he beats the reigning u23 TT World Champ, Thor Hushovd, in the chrono. So on those capacities, he has GC GT rider all over him as of then. Then he goes to USPS. He lost his preparatore at the Italian amateur team, and goes off his program, and becomes a nobody journeyman.

Thor put in suspiciously good performances in the climbing stages too.

I still think he is Great Britains best hope for a Tour de France title, going on his performance ten years back, when on the program. Wigans is damn good on the program, but does not hold any mtn climb records.

Are the Postal and Discovery team doctors over the years included? Surely all of this is done (esp. the transfusion business) under their tutelage, or supervision, at least.

Why do team doctors always escape? Why can they not be disbarred from practicing medicine if caught or implicated? Are medical authorities indifferent to sporting malfeasance by their comrades?

Doctors lying to the FDA. Gee, that should be jailable.

Edit: a team doctor faced with permanent or a 10-year revocation of his medical licence will make a good candidate to "rat" out the whole business. The FDA and medical authorities should force them to face the complete loss of their livelihood, but grant the carrot of complete amnesty if they talk and testify in court. Let them face the music. Bet you will find some who will sing like canaries.

Good call, add Dr. Prentice Steffen to the list. He already spoke out years ago and claimed LA and The Hog asked him to put the USPS riders on a full program, then fired him when he refused.
