Hard to beat that type of sprint finish by De Lie today - Thought the final was on the limit of his capabilities but he produced a dynamite finish - Now he can ride freely in Sunday's more challenging parcours.

So he had a massive burrito near the finish, which then made him impossible to follow, due to the amount of gas that was leaking out of him? (I assume that's the idea behind that Zwift feature)

I think that most of the time but he's better on these short uphill efforts than we would give him with his torso. He also recovers really fast after for a sprint. What a gem.
Hopefully in the Tour next year.
He should be riding a GT in 2024 - There is no reason why he does not.

Lotto will be changing bike brand, but these Ridleys seem like they can take some punishment, the way De Lie tortured his bike in that sprint. 'The bull' is quite apt as a nickname for him.

It seems too he followed Ma Vingegaard's advice on preparation (no back flips in the pool!) -
"I wanted to save my energy - I've watched a lot of the older editions and I knew that you had to wait for a long, long time. I had two teammates but I wanted to try and get the speed from behind," De Lie said.

And dependent on what invitations Lotto accept - Ordinarily, the Giro has the most suitable parcours but we need to wait for the route reveal.
Last year if the final climb of Montreal was 200 metres longer than A.Yates would have dropped Pogacar, Van Aert and the like - Now if Yates x2 are in shape, then they could rip up the final climb.
