That animal protest is out of control.

He hasn't been to the Tour for three years because he didn't like being a domestique. He didn't help Del Toro at the Giro, preferring to finish in the top 10.

This gift should have gone to Narvaez for his help at the Tour. Not to one of his selfish teammates.
He's not been to the Tour for three years because they upgraded the whole team. He worked hard for Pogacar in 2021 and 2022.

If benevolence is what it takes to rekindle some respectful passion for the sport, I’m for it
I thought he looked pretty cheerful. I'm also enjoying the fact that he seems to annoy people no matter what he does. Pogacar wins? Boring. Doesn't win? Washed. Gifts a win to a teammate? Disrespectful/ boring/ couldn't he have gifted it to anyone but McNulty.

I got back a few minutes ago from the race , I was out there for 6 hours. It was a great day, beautiful weather and a great atmosphere. I love how accessible the whole route is.

I started on Cam Houde then was on Chemin Remembrance . I walked to Chemin De Polytechnique. I stayed there for around an hour so saw the riders going past 4 times. At first there were 2 small groups followed by the peleton . Then each time they came around the gap to the peleton got smaller and finally it was 4 UAE riders at the front including Pog.

The crowd were great cheering everyone along , obviously extra excited to see Pog but we were all cheering the riders coming up the rear as well.

I started watching this race in 2022 and at that time on Polytechnique it was very different there was one small barrier around 20 people and one security guard and now there are hundreds of people there with a concessions stand and music.

There were some funny moments . They allow regular cyclists on there in between the racers and there were some recreational riders getting cheered as they rode up the hill . There was a bemused looking old man and a dad towing his kid.

I then walked along Cote De Neiges where I saw the leaders and the rest pass by a couple more times.

I actually didn't get to see the finish as I had too far to walk back . I think I missed it by about 10 minutes. When I got there the podium places were done but there were still quite a lot of riders coming in.

I asked a guy holding a big Slovenian flag near the finish line if Pog had won- he said he did and when I asked him if he won easily he said not like last year but he won. I don't know what that guy was smoking but when I watched the presentations I learned the truth.

When I watched the presentations Pog seemed really happy- in fact it was a very happy podium all around.

There were a few small groups of Palestinian protestors near the finish line but it was all pretty inconsequential compared to other protests we have seen. No one was really paying any attention to them.

To summarize a great day out . Roll on the worlds this year and next year here in Montreal.

Quinn Simmons seemed super happy on the podium and he got good applause from the crowd.

"This is one of the hardest one-day races in the world. And to be honest, I thought I was here to support Skelly [Mattias Skjelmose]. I didn't expect to even make it to the finish today. So yeah, we got killed a bit by UAE," Simmons said at the finish.

I would definitely recommend it. I've watched the race over the last few years and it's been really enjoyable, there's a great atmosphere. Even though it's well attended you never have to push through crowds to get a good look at the action because of the lay out, its well spread out and accessible. There are so many places where you can get a good view of the riders.
