At least good to see that Gesink is back in business. I was pretty concerned after the Tour. But who knows, he might be able to finish 2nd a few more times to Gilbert in the coming weeks.

Gesink is like Tom Simpson. He pushes his pain barrier to insane limits.

EBH is just completely out of shape since TDF, his wins in eneco and vattenfall were despite his form, not because of it. I knew that Nordhaug has surprisingly been dropping EBH on every training ride lately but hoped that EBH would somehow get his form back before worlds but it doesn't look good. Sky has made him do way too many races, I mean since may he's done picardie, bayern, dauphine, tdf, eneco, vattenfall, plouay and now these 2 races.
