Hater....

Don't bother...

True, but BMC already have some very strong cobbled classics riders.

Just thinking about that makes me feel all weak in the knees!

In future I insist that you use this:

You know it makes sense.

Agreed, I think either George would have to retire or Ballan or Burghardt would have to move teams as they would want to be leaders even though Cancellara is better than them in Roubaix, etc.

Do you know about Eijssen? I have only read that he won a race on the Ax 3 Domaines this year so he must be a climber. Any other info?

Eijissen finished 3rd in the Tour Des Pyrénées - Vuelta a los Pirineos 2010 at the start of August behind Florent Barle. Przemyslaw Niemiec was second at 8 seconds and Eijissen third at 26 seconds. Eijissen finished 2nd on the 2nd stage three seconds behind Niemiec, a stage which finished with climbing Plat d'Adet. (10.73km at 8% according to climbbybike). Also finished 6th in this years U23 Liege Bastogne Liege.

He has said officially (on his homepage) that he is considering to leave Saxo Bank.

No he has not. This is what he said:

And then I often think about next season as well. It is an open secret that other teams are interested in me. I have to say, some interesting suggestions have been made, which would also offer me long-term opportunities for the future, i.e.

beyond cycling. As I am openly communicating with Bjarne Riis, we have of course discussed this situation. I am delighted that Bjarne will come to the Vuelta and that we will be able to talk about our pending tasks.

Frankly, the last sentence makes me belive that he'll stay with SBS. What pending tasks is there for him this fall?

I think it's strange that FC admitting that other teams are interested in him makes everybody think he'll leave.

Trying to boost his value?

meh let's be honest. Their riders are more fit for domestique.

Hincapie is too old.
Burghardt is not really a super force in the cobbles - i understand he loves them, and yeh he won G-W a few years back - but he really isn't a huge contender for the classics imo. AFAIK he has never been in the top ten at P-R. If someone like spartacus or boonen joined, I'm sure any team manager would make him work.
And well Ballan. The guy needs to re-catch his form, he hasn't really showed anything on the cobbles since 2008.

You are right in all aspects, but the thing is that Hincapie thought he could contend with FC in RVV this year, Burghardt came to BMC because he wanted to get results for himself and ballan, who knows what is happening with him? Quinziato is a good pick up. I don't see any of those guys playing 2nd fiddle for Cancellara, even if they know he is better.

Cancellara vs. Riis !!

Riis is ****ED at Cancellara right now. Danish tv2 had an interview with both (seperatly): They were to talk the situation over tonight and when Riis was asked how he felt about Cancellara right now he answered "I'll keep that to my self" looking down in the ground:mad: Cancellara was confronted with the fact that he might had to stay because Bjarne wanted too much in payment for him and he answered "we'll see" with a smile:cool:

The two of them certainly don't agree

Whoever is going for Cancellara, it gotta be a team with a huge amount of money to do with.

If it's this interview:

you're refering to I don't see how you can conclude what the "we'll see"-comment is an answer to.
