Vingegaard is trying to gain allies in his war against UAE.Is he having a bromance with Jonas? I saw them talking at length in the bunch on Monday (and Jonas doesn't often talk to people who are not his teammates or compatriots) and he patted his back when they crossed the finish line yesterday.

This is his level. Last year he wasn't close to Yates, how can he be with Remco and Roglic at their best?Had hoped we would be closer to Remco and Rogla yesterday, lost 1 min 30 s.
Sure, not his favorite terrain, but still, if he wants to challange for a podium spot he needs to show a little bit more.
However, high mountains are coming up and on the long climbs he is usually good. Will Ineos try to challange Remco and Rogla for the 3rd spot. Remco is a bit of an unknown on the really hard mountain stages, definately Ineos should try to make it hard to test Remco at least.
So what do you think? Rodriguez for 3rd spot realistic or not?
Young, can still improve? Remco might crack? Rogla has a Giro-moment and no Kuss to help him? This is his level. Last year he wasn't close to Yates, how can he be with Remco and Roglic at their best?
He isn't better than João. He would needa lot of luck to both Remco and Roglic to crack big time.Young, can still improve? Remco might crack? Rogla has a Giro-moment and no Kuss to help him?
Want to see him in the pyrenees at least, before I pass a final judgement.
Don't claim he is better than Joao, but Joao is a superdom, not certain he can go for his own chances completely. Also looked a bit weaker yesterday. He isn't better than João. He would needa lot of luck to both Remco and Roglic to crack big time.
João is like Rodriguez, he doesn't like small climbs with a lot of punch. He is tailormade for climbs like BonetteDon't claim he is better than Joao, but Joao is a superdom, not certain he can go for his own chances completely. Also looked a bit weaker yesterday.

Last year he was on the podium until he crashed hard. This is his level. Last year he wasn't close to Yates, how can he be with Remco and Roglic at their best?
He was on the podium because Hindley crashed and when did he crash? I don't remember the stage.Last year he was on the podium until he crashed hard.
He was off the podium after the ITT and crashed in stage 20Last year he was on the podium until he crashed hard.
Agree. Seems to me most of Ineos have been off. Still its no completely failure or anything, but most people following the sport like we do would say its a performance a bit under par. He should at least be on the level of Landa and Almeida here IMO. I have been one of the poster kinda hyping him, but he's still a long way off atmIt has been a disappointing Tour, but given the way the whole team has been off and struck by illness, there's some hope that he can do much better next year.
Yes, I also expected a bit more of him. He was still the only Ineos rider beside dePlus perhaps who performed close to his normal level, but still hoped for more, especially in the third week.Agree. He crashed in the '22 Vuelta in the last week and was quite banged up.Yes, I also expected a bit more of him. He was still the only Ineos rider beside dePlus perhaps who performed close to his normal level, but still hoped for more, especially in the third week.
Talking about the third week in a GC. As I rememeber, the third week had been always the weakest of him in his three grand tours he rode. Hopefully he can change this in the future, otherwise it´s not a good signal for future GT plans with him.
He crashed in last year’s TDF in the 3rd week as well.He crashed in the '22 Vuelta in the last week and was quite banged up.
Yeah, i remember, but as someone pointed out, that was only in the last stage (before Paris). So not the explanation for fading in the last week.He crashed in last year’s TDF in the 3rd week as well.
