The victories will come on the flat stages, concentrate the team there, if you want someone in the top 10 sure send Uran with one helper, but there'll be no pressure on OPQS to make the race so Uran wouldn't need more than 1. I'd think Cav, Renshaw, Terpstra, Boonen, Martin, Stybar, Bakelants, Poels, Uran.
Having said if it were me, Uran would be doing Ardennes, Giro, Vuelta.

Just a question, why should the Panzerwagen automatically do the Tour? Only one tt and its right at the end, where as the giro has one and the ttt. He could do the giro and then vuelta again as wc prep

Well Tony is a tank. They will need him, simple as that. No many better flat riders than him in the peleton.

Plus Tour TT victory is soooooooooooo much more presitigious than Giro TT.

Someone has to haul the peloton day after day when the rest of the teams crack the sads, throw the toys out of the pram and make OPQS do all the heavy lifting. Nobody's better at that than the Panzerwagen.

Martin will be used heavily throughout the TdF.

Wont Argos also have to lend a hand with Kittel's new status in this, along with the yellow jersey holder's team, the lead out is the people for the last 3k which is most important.

Tony has huge experience piloting teams in to the final km's and setting up the lead out. Cavendish likes working with him and will probably want him there as well, which would carry some weight. I also think he'd like a crack at that final TT, which many would see as more prestigious than the Giro TT.

Cav may have only won 2 stages last year, but everyone knows he's still the man to beat. An average of more than 4 stage wins each year, over 6 years means a lot of responsibility, regardless of whoever else is there.
