Just considering whether it's worth while changing to ceramic bearings on a pair on campag zondas 05/06 as an interim upgrade. Anyone had experience with upgrading to ceramic bearings and will it make any difference ?

'Worth' is a personal decision. Ceramic, for low speed, low pressure, low temp applications is a waste of $, does nothing, answers no question, solves no problem.

Ceramic, along with some wheels out of a box and certain other bicycle 'innovations' are the things of the marketing department in a flat business arena.

Save the money and possibly troubles down the road (depending on the wheel). Stay with what you are running. The benefits of ceramic bearings are mostly for those that make and market them, not ever day cyclists.
