Morgado is hard to beat at the end of a tough race but Hector is indeed the type of rider who could do it.

This is a notable step-up from Alvarez, not enough data points at a proper level to judge just how fast he is but I guess we are about to find out. He has scope to mess around a bit too as Morgado probably thinking who the *** is this guy.

Antonio with a good start of the year. Looks like he’s over all his injuries. Nice to meet you, Alvarez.

Really happy seeing Herregodts get a top ten. Hopefully my fellow townsman has a healthy season now, and maybe he can surf on the UAE flow towards more and better results.

Impressed by the young Alvarez too.

Very impressive by Alvarez, nice to meet you indeed. I like what Im seeing from Lidl. Last year Søderqvist, and now Alvarez seem impressive, both takings leaps. This was kinda hard and attritional.

They seem to be building a solid foundation. I see you Lidl.

At 19, Hector looks promising. We will see if he could follow this up with another good showing in the more mountainous Serra Tramuntana.

So we've seen amateurs sucking wheels and getting on the nerves of pros in their training rides, and young pros leading their older and better opponents to the win in real races. The world is upside down.

Again Holter with some early season good form. He was 4th last year in Alula Tour as well. Hope he can get more good results the rest of the year.
