Could Remco have won 3 TDU stages in a row?
No clue, didn’t watch.

Just think it’s…interesting to suggest it would have been “embarrassing“ not to win his 3rd race in a row, in what’s basically a training camp in January. This is a rider planning to peak in …July.

He will peak after the next altitude camp. And again after next altitude camp after a few races. And so on. If he stays healthy and don't crash.

Unibet tactically outclassing every other team here, they have the sprint favorite, but still put someone in a strong break. They will have their full train left why other teams have sacrificed riders.

Also moto in front of peloton is gone now, and they can't come a second closer anymore as the front group still has their moto.

Well done Herregodts, but here comes the peloton for the final sprint.

Nice cathedral in the background, btw., and palm trees, palm trees everywhere

Why tf would Marit do the leadout? No way anyone believed that.
He said so in pre-race interview and seemed a bit annoyed about it.

Hilarious that he made his own sprint and won. Magagnotti got 3rd, despite not being lead-out as Marit did his own sprint.

But they seemed pretty relaxed and smiling afterwards.
