TeoSheva said:we didn't see Matthews vs Guardini vs Degenkolb, but we saw Guardini vs Kittel (5 to 1) and Degenkolb vs Kittel (1 to 1, but Degenkolb was at his first race on yesterday)... so I think Kittel is a little behind them...

It is annoying for readers who are ignorant about the game and would like to stay that way. I am also not going to post cheers, points and standing for the riders who are "mine" in other cycling games. So, I am not against cycling (management) games. Also, of course, everyone has favorite riders; it makes watching cycling more fun. However, posts only containing "Nr 1 & 2 for me today" don't add much to the general discussion about the races and should be posted in the CQ Mgmt Game thread. If that isn't going to happen, this forum will lose all the members not involved in that game and the CN forum will change into a forum dedicated to 1 cycling game. The Hitch said:What is the problem with people mentioning that they are happy a rider they were supporting won? I'm not playing with you, but I agree: I'm doing a similar game in an other forum, and we had the same discussion...The Hitch said:Interest in these early season races on these forums has been boosted significantly by the cq game. It has added something to them. The cq thread alone cant handle all the cq talk. People support riders now here because they have them on their cq team.
The cq game is bigger than the cq thread.
What is the problem with people mentioning that they are happy a rider they were supporting won? It doesnt spoil anything for anyone. Presumably you would also have us move any talk about having putting money on a rider to win or odds on a race to the betting thread.
And maybe we should create a "your nations rider won" thread, and anyone willing to express joy that a rider they are supporting from the source of national solidarity should be banned from mentioning it on race threads and forced to do so their
While we are at it, lets just limit all race thread talk to Thucydides like scientific history talk. No opinions, no predictions, just " rider x at the front" "rider y in a break" and "rider z wins".![]()

Yes, he's mainly known as a time trialist. And now apparently also a sprinter.taiwan said:Kittel can apparently time trial also, FWIW.
the forum is forum.sky.it (is an italian one!) and we call the game Fantaciclismo (fantaciclyng). The Hitch said:Out of interest, mind telling what forum and game this is?

There are only 14 teams, of 36 riders each, but each team has his own riders! for example, only one has Gilbert (me)! we decided the team by an auction
