ChrisE said:OK guys. I agree LA is the devil in the myopic world of buckwheat and Berzin.
ChrisE said:BTW, maybe I am starting with a moral deficit in this argument.
buckwheat said:It's not complicated. Cheating is bad. Then to use charity to hide fraud is reprehensible.
Hibbles said:Not just charity, but also cancer. The way he turns an attack on him into an attack on cancer is disgusting. Kimmage was right, a shame he was then vilified by an army of know-nothing "fans".
What I want to know is why people like Vaughters, who have no vested interest in uphlding the myth any more, are too scared to speak out against him.
Yes Vaughters, if you're reading this, scared. There can be no other explanation.
Unless it's for personal wealth that comes with the increased exposure to cycling, but if that's the case he's as bad as the man himself.

Maybe people just want to live their lives and forget the man, stay as far away from him as they can.

Not to mention it would be a further notch on his double standards - running a clean team, speaking out against Armstrong, but then wanting Contador and condoning Wiggins.

Jonathan Vaughters will not gain anything from speaking out against the man. It is a loose - loose situation.
i pretty much agree with one caveat - it's disadvantageous to speak out now at the moment because armstrong is still holding a lot of power and influence.Escarabajo said:+1.

but there will be a moment when it'll fade away and i am sure a lot of people can't wait for that moment. jv appears a smart man with the legal twist to his mentality.
the wisest normally strike at the time of their choosing, on their own conditions and not when the emotion runs high. .
that's why i believe, partially, armstrong is back and will try to hang around cycling for as long as possible - so that he could postpone the moment of his low point.
but the reckoning is inevitable. he had hurt too many good people.

I also would like to vote on the legalization of prostitutes.
Yall should take it easy on ChrisE and his bro-mance.
