I agree with you for the most part, even if I would regret a couple of her tweets if I was her boyfriend. Still, I would love to have a woman willing to stick up for me like that.

And as a bonus, she's extremely nice to look at. :D

why would you want anyone else but yourself to stick up for you

Sorry for OT, but damn, that sucks. It was always clear, that Papp is a scumbag, but I didn't know how much of a scumbag he still was after he supposedly "reformed". Guess I must have been absent to the forums during that time...

ironic and hilarious how well I remember how most in the clinic always sucked up to him because he was a former pro(and I use that term very lightly). showed to me how the clinic is bascially full of what they call in pro wrestling: "marks"

Hmmm... where to start...

Well, yes it is me.

About the photo:
Yes, the photo was enhanced, not by much though, so I still wouldn't call it "photoshopped" - to me that implies some sort of editing has been done to the actual image, but I guess that's a matter of opinion.
We went up Ventoux twice, the first time Chris rode with Sean Kelly & the Eurosport crew, the second time he went alone. The weather was quite strange going up the second time, it was raining at one point then as we went higher the sun came out. Nicolas Portal was driving and noticed the weird cloud in the rear view mirror, so he sped past Chris & I got the shot.
Whether you like the photo or not doesn't really bother me, my photography was always a hobby, my actual profession is/was systems analysis & development for banks & insurance companies. My photography probably is a little too overcooked for most... I am privileged to get opportunities that most photographers could only dream of though, so I will always take photos regardless. Here's a sample of some of my stuff over the last couple of years http://michellecound.tumblr.com/

Re the tweet about Brad/Chris:
I guess we shall all see come July. Obviously the two aren't seeing eye-to-eye at the moment, you don't have to know everything that's going on in the background to figure that out.

Re my tweets in general:
I have always spoken my mind, and I will continue to speak my mind. I'm passionate about the sport, & even more so about Chris, so obviously I will defend him, and fact is, this is not about one person. I sacrificed my own career & life to support Chris & his dreams. Managing Chris' life is a proper full time job & far tougher with far longer hours than any company I've ever worked at. I'm certainly not complaining though, there's that quote "find a job that you love & you'll never work a day in your life"... it's true, most days ;) For the people that know me, & understand my involvement, they "get" the tweets. For the people that don't, and judge me based purely on what they see, so be it... I'm not going to lose sleep over that.

ok just imagging you are really his wife for the sake of argument here. why would you defend him? does he need anyone but himself to defend himself? lol, you have nothing to do with who he is, nor his success he has gained, without you he would be just as talented and good. it's all his gain and his results. if my girlfriend was messing with my life so much she would be shown the hole in the door instantly.

Ryo, you are a lovely chauvinist person, honestly. but that has to be one of the most... okay, i'll control my words here.

Chris has made his choice. he is not as narrow-minded as you, and for that i give him great respect. he allows Michelle to be Michelle, for better or worse.

you say you would show her the door instantly. fine sir, if you were my boyfriend with that mindset of yours, you would not have gotten in the door in the first place.

Thanks for the links to the photo's. just out of interest what's Sky's stance on family members staying with the cyclists during competition. Are certain members allowed to follow and stay with the team during a stage race or do you stay in separate accommodation? Thanks and welcome.

Oh god, you take this horribly out of context.

The opposite of what Ryo says would also apply to the boyfriend/husband, of a female top athlete, who constantly defends his girlfriend against haters.

I'm sure he understood that.

Fleur, to restrain your fervor is in your interests otherwise it won't be difficult to go crazy in July. Take care of yourself.

nobody with any personality needs anyone else to step up for him/her. neither do I. I do all the talking for myself and not my girlfriend. you meet who you are, I guess. but I've never seen any good relationship except the one with myself and thanks to that just as great one with my girlfriend. and she would not dare to mess in my life, not because she's afraid but because she doesn't want to limit me in anything

Is it the same the other way around?
