He won't do it.

Nieve or Rolland will win it. Both will go in the breaks on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I doubt Saturday's stage will go to Froome. There's a **** load of points on offer on those 3 days, and I see Rolland or Nieve in the break on 2 of those stages.

From what we've seen, I think it's not out of the question that Froome will win the two remaining MTFs as well, certainly he will go for it on Alpe d'Huez. That's possibly another 100 points. Rolland would almost have to sweep all other available points to make up for that, or at least finish high on one of the MTFs, none of which appears that likely looking at his form so far.

It's the strongest rider I've seen for 10 years. His climbing is a new landmark in the sport. I regret that only a few guys have enough dignity to praise him and call his wins beautiful and deserved just because he beat their riders...

Well, "beautiful" isn't the right word, I'd say even as someone who's rooting for him. I do wish he didn't look like he was raping a pig on his bike. ;)

Those accelerations were crazy, real impressive. Last time i see someone do it that fierce was contador on the gailibier (tour 2007).

I can't wait to see how you'll react when nibali rides the tour next year against Froome :D

Did you think Froome would win the Tour at the expense of TTs right?

I was completely wrong man. Just ask it upfront, you were right.

Obviously you were completely wrong about andy, but let's avoid that.

And yeah i even doubt Contador (giro 2011) could handle this Froome.

It's ok. You are a really nice guy if you can say this. Hats off.

'This Froome', Miburo, needed the excellent support of his team mates and team tactics (superb) to be able to launch his attempt, as I am sure he will say himself. What Brailsford has achieved is something the other teams are still trying to catch up with. I really appreciate Froome's genuine modesty in victory too.

Totally agree with you, this was something else and something to remember. All that preparatory work, clean and dedicated, finally paying off for a super talent.
Yes. Chris was born at altitude and with many
high altitude training camps under his belt, he
looks great when the roads start going up.

congrats to the man of the day!

i'll definitely cheer now for alberto all next week but some shiit chris is getting it, i don't agree with at all. i don't think it's very much ok to cheer for the rockets of the last 10 years( all amazing champs no doubt) and to slam froomey like garbage. doesn't seem right sorry

Those rockets were racing other rockets. Diesel powers rockets vs an old school rocket isn't entertaining though.

Everyone on the same fuel, whatever that fuel may be makes for good racing.

Did anyone notice his change in cadence when he decided to drop Quintana? I don't think there was a shift. He just took a gear and damn near torqued the cassette off the hub body. Looked like the roadrunner feet blazing dropping Wile e coyote

He was just toying at a cadence like 80 rpm then boom 130. Did the front wheel come off the ground? Jk

Wow
