Sky should've simply sent Froome as leader to the Giro. With his current shape and a little later peak it would've been a demonstration of strengh in Italy. He would've won multiple stages + the maglia rosa. And Wiggins would've been able to fail while trying to defend his Tour de France title against Contador.

Now, it's a big questionmark if Wiggins really is able to win the Giro. And Contador might still be the strongest and beat Froome at the Tour.

Bad tactics from Sky, it seems .

If Froome is winning the Tour it doesn't matter ... otherwise .... fail !

There's no way Contador podiums the Tour
Tour will be 1.2 wiggins or froome, 3rd spot will be Rui Costa or TVG

Actually he doesn't look strong at all but that doesn't mean anything. It's quite obvious he'll destroy everyone. 1 minute plus on every climb? Damn, when was the last time a tour win was this certain beforehand, 2005?

tour? Giro 2011.

Tour? 2009/2010

Ye of little faith

@ammattipyoraily no way he's broken Mayo's record. No way. If he did, I'm quitting my job.

I have nothing against Alberto... never have, probably never will...
I tweeted one video of a Vuelta preview that included some controversial stuff about Contador & that crazy stalker chick has been carrying on about it since... seriously... get over it.

Also, I don't know who you are ILovecycling & I wouldn't have bothered following you because of something you said about Brad...

Yeah and this is not bad picture, except that Froome could be on the other side to make it more "dynamic"...unless she wanted to show he was "done" with the climb...I wonder what camera it is because HDR is used here and it doesn't work too well with moving subjects normally.

It's a Canon 5D Mk II, it's not photoshopped. I enhanced the image using Aperture.

FYI: That is how I met Chris - I was a freelance cycling photographer.

On topic, I was quizzed by some friends of mine who are not into cycling and they found it extremely bizarre that within a professional setup which is controlled like Sky that Sky would have people linked to them (in the form of Riders' GFs) insult or deride fellow riders etc or just be very opinionated.

I was forced to agree, because I really wouldn't expect Brailsford to leave such a long leash..

Thanks for the info, I'm not sure my Sony A500 would do that, you did have HDR on though?

So can you tell us what you really mean by 'Chris & Brad on the same start line, in the same kit? Mmmmmm … doubt it!' ? Surely you can't be suggesting that BW shouldn't start the TDF if he's willing and able (defending champion, backup in case something happens to CF, etc...) ?
