Come on Mish_C, you've been suitably indiscreet in the past, give us the low down on what is happening: How much does Chris hate Brad's guts on a scale of 1 to 10? I'm sure there are no journos on this forum, nothing to worry about, you can tell all in confidence. :)

Thanks for the info, I'm not sure my Sony A500 would do that, you did have HDR on though?

So can you tell us what you really mean by 'Chris & Brad on the same start line, in the same kit? Mmmmmm … doubt it!' ? Surely you can't be suggesting that BW shouldn't start the TDF if he's willing and able (defending champion, backup in case something happens to CF, etc...) ?

Funny how before you knew mc was reading the forum you were throwing insults at her, but now you cower down and pretend to be a friendly poster asking a question

It's worse than that, Froome and that Cound Twitwoman want Wiggo OFF the team apparently, they're completely full of themselves, it's scary and cannot end well.

It's a Canon 5D Mk II, it's not photoshopped. I enhanced the image using Aperture.
Not to be pedantic but isn't any image post processing generally referred to as photoshopping regardless of the software used?

I'm not sure my Sony A500 would do that, you did have HDR on though?
The 5D mk ii does not have built in HDR (The mkiii does I think). You would need to take pictures at multiple exposures (Technically you can do it with one raw image but the result won't be as good).

Yeah and this is not bad picture, except that Froome could be on the other side to make it more "dynamic"...unless she wanted to show he was "done" with the climb...I wonder what camera it is because HDR is used here and it doesn't work too well with moving subjects normally.

It's not terrible, but it is far from good. But she will have plenty of practice.

Yes, I'd be interested to hear the answer to that too...

It should be noted that without Cavendish this year there will basically be two extra helpers available for the GC leader considering that Eisel was assigned to help him. That makes it even more sensible to start with Wiggins as a back up rider because Froome should have more than enough help anyway (Porte, Lopez, Kiri, Thomas, EBH etc).

I think there are forum rules against insulting other forum members, but MC wasn't really a forum member until she just started posting here, so... guess we'll all have to start toning down on the insults at her.

All that is little nothings of life compared what a flow of hysteria from Contador fans Michelle will possibly read in July. :p

they say froomey's has beat mayo's record on the first attempt of relaxed training ride up ventoux

he looks strong, mighty strong

So on a relaxed training ride Froome is beating the record time of a juiced up Mayo? Either they are talking horseshít or Froome found a better juice bar than Mayo's. IF (and thats a big if) they are telling the truth I would just quote what Simoni said about Basso and apply it to Froome: "extra-terrestrial"

Wrong forum and all, I know, but if what you wrote is true its just sick.

Who's "they" anyway? I wonder if it wasn't someone's idea of a joke...

Ye was thinking the same. Hoping its a joke. But u never know with a guy like Froome.

jezuz christ guys... it was a simple joke, forgot to add a smiley. but i thought "relaxed" was enough.

mayo's record is impossible to beat in a road stage of 240 kms. even in ventoux time trial it would take huge amounts of panache, magnificent form and kerosene to beat that extraterrestrial time

The contrast is weird.. it looks like an instagram picture.

And I suspect it's photoshopped - boo
most images need to go into Photoshop (eta: or Aperture, Capture One, or Lightroom) to be worked when you're shooting RAW, so Photoshop is not the devil here.

but i agree. imo, it's way overcooked. it's the choice of the photographer, however, to express themselves however they see fit... totally not my cup of tea, though.
