Chris Froome did not tweet any congratulations to Israel Premier Tech team mate Michael Woods winning Stage Nine of the Tour de France to Puy de Dome.
Maybe he did something privately, after all tweeting is not compulsory, but I'd normally expect to see something.
Froome's relationship with the team is probably not great at the moment, but he is clearly digging in, vowing to participate in the 2024 TdF.
He has made it clear he is not going anywhere and expects his huge contract to be fully honoured (I don't blame him) and maybe the lack of recognition for Woods illustrates this widening gap in the relationship between Froome and his employers.

I mean it could be anything, Froome could have been on the phone singing to Woods for an hour for all we know.
Could be that Froome need to fire his SoMe consultants.

But yeah it doesn't reflect well on Froome to not say anything on SoMe, If he is mad at the team that's fair, but none of that is Woods fault.

I think Froome didn‘t tweet is because one could expect a stage victory from IPT, and everyone could realistically imagine that Woods could be their stage winner.

Woods‘ stage win was just no spectacular news, so Chris obviously decided not to tweet.

Did you check on Threads though??

Does Froome normally tweet congratulations when a teammate wins big and he is not there?

Like Kwiatkowski at Sanremo? Or Dan Martin's Giro stage win in 2021?

If I had a twitter account I would look into it and provide the answer.

Here are two tweets from Chris Froome at last year's 2022 Tour de France on July 6 and July 19.
He congratulates team mates Simon Clarke and later Hugo Houle for their impressive stage wins.
As for Michael Woods winning yesterday's landmark stage...........tumbleweed.
