He finished 64th on the day, only 1min57sec behind the winner of hilly Stage Two.

Remember that tour of pologne was his prep race before his big breakthrough 2nd (1st) place in la vuelta in 2011! 85 GC in that edition - way ahead of schedule now.
If I was Vingegaard - I'd be s**** myself right now.
He is starting to look like a rider who could make it to the Vuelta. Good to see. At least he gets a farewell grand tour, even if a personal result is unthinkable.

It's an insult. Froomey goes to a proper team next year (not the one that sabotages its own star) and you will see how the Tour goes. It should be a nice battle for #5 vs Pogi!

Chris won't do anything more for his *** team. They don't deserve him after those betrayals. Following Thomas' departure Ineos will sign him again to have a proper shot at the Tour. Pogi vs Froomey for #5, an epic battle for joining the legends. Can't wait to it!
