Horner is hypercritical of MVDP, some of it justifiably, but most of it seems to be based on the fact that MVDP is not Wout van Aert, his special favourite.

Dunno, it seems to hover around who he chooses to accuse from knuckleheadism or Solerism or or.. But I sensed this Wout van Aert favorism too a while ago (and now Seixas just signed Wouts retirement papers from first page rider list..)

Horner is super good with his views and knowledge, it's just that I'm having a hard time with his style of high pitch voice output, the way he starts nicely but quickly pulls the socket.. Listen one episode and take a week to recover, from the voice not the content. Oh well..

Chris Horner also has a very soft spot for Primoz Roglic, as does Johan Bruyneel and both of them still think he has much to offer.
I think the rest of us believe he is finished.

I wouldn't say Roglic is finished. Froome was finished straight after his accident. If you think what Horner did at the age of 40+ I think Roglic still have something to offer. Maybe Horner thinks that way. Then again level between Horner and Nibali back then and nowadays, the bar sits probably quite a bit higher, to challenge Pogi or Vingo or Remco aso.

Sounds people say today easily: Roglic naaah not that special, but he's made huge career tbo, remember he spent younger years ,12 yrs, in ski jumping, being junior wc if I recall, before bad crash.

But it's somewhat visible he senses the final coming. Was very nice to see old spark in Itzulia stage 2 finish.
