Just wanted to punt a question out to all and sundry...

...was this guy on the juice?

Any evidence that he was doped?

Brits don't dope, we don't have a culture of doping, unlike Europe, In Britain we play by the rules and Hoy would be crucified if he doped so he would never.

So no.

Any evidence to back that assertion up or it is merely performance?

Maybe if you look at Hoy's thighs ;) not natural and he was beating guys with bigger thighs and guys who were caught for doping. Of course he did with marginal gains with BC.......that and bread and water.

If having smaller thighs is a sign of doping then how do you explain the guys with bigger thighs getting caught for doping? Makes no sense at all.

How do you explain guys with smaller thighs(but still unnaturally big) beating guys with bigger thighs in a 'power' race?

Hoy's thighs were huge, but not the biggest in track sprinting.

There maybe sunshine on Leith but Hoy was using the chemical stuff.
No Sunshine on Leith for Sir Chris, he is a good Jambo...which makes him a good guy regardless whatever he was surely taking ;)

Edit: probably a bit cryptic for non Edinburgh football fans..google will do the rest if you are remotely interested:)

Performance is evidence. As Serious Sam explained very well.

After Lance a few years ago and now Radcliffe, anyone who continues pretending that performance has nothing to do with doping is just deluding themselves.

Yes but performance and thigh size is literally all you have. Just as that won't bring censure it won't convince me. Until you have something more concrete to bring to the table it's a case of *yawn*

He may or may not, there aren't absolutes here, and no matter how many times you say there are....there aren't.
