Froome's explanation was that he was at an exclusive hotel and they would not let the testers in. The odd thing is that, unless I misread, he volunteered this anecdote.

not odd at all.

he is leading the story.

its called limited hangout. you give a putative negative info story, to compel credibility in the greater story, and to cover up more nefatious detail. basically, it is still propaganda, it is a tactic to prove validity when the underlying truth is the opposite.

That did occur to me. So sort of like if you break the vase you run to mom and blame it on the dog rather than wait for her to find pout and confront you. Froome does seem to be fond of this tactic either here or with the "no one is testing us at Tenerife".

When one Cycling Ireland's Commissaires from the small tiny cycling nation is tweeting this.....

Edward Keogh @EagleEyeEd
@DickinsonTimes @jacob_haislund Cycling is as bad as ever they have just moved on to newer methods or micro dosing

......it confirms the sport is still a cesspit.

Micro-dosing?? Froome missing a test is proof that riders are back to full dosages. The only reason anyone would microdose is if you somehow know a test is coming and you need to taper off the stuff quickly (in-competition). People missing tests is proof that these folks are glowing like the Chernobyl nuclear facility on 26/04/86.

If I remember correctly, I am pretty certain I read somewhere that an anti-doping authority, under the condition of anonimity, expressed his/her concern that the # of water samples were rearing their ugly head again. These are urine samples that have been contaminated by some kind of outside source, and virtually turned into water. Manzano made mention of the little red pill they would put under their foreskin prior to urinating... This is Kelme-years doping.

I would like to know how many tests Alberto and the other TdF contenders have missed in the past 6 months.

This TdF is going to be one for the record books.

And now we know why so many teams are made up of all Euros...damn Americans and their penis mutilation!

must be cleanest peloton ever - even poor shampoo cannot be called doping anymore (anyway, at least we still can have AMGEN-the-EPO-creator Tour of Cali)

Alpecin drop 'doping for hair' slogan during Tour

Hair product manufacturer Alpecin, co-sponsor of the Giant-Alpecin team, announced on Tuesday that it has dropped its controversial slogan, 'doping for your hair' ahead of the Tour de France, and for the duration of the race in order to make sure the focus stays on the team's riders, reported AFP.

There are things that happends, and he said that becouse he is comitted about doping and to lose just one in 5 years is like you have nothing to hide, It is something to be proud.

Other riders should do the same and exlalin how many test they losed. I want to believe in all the WT cycling today, but it is possible there are siil some people with microdosing, and of course that is easier that happends in people that worked voluntary with Riis than in others.

yep, because it's not like he's offered the hotel up saying, "here speak to their concierge, he'll verify this"... then again, it's not like any journo has said, "okay Chris, which hotel was it? Let us know so we can see if they corroborate your side of this story". DW not present??
we're only hearing one side of this story, and there's certainly no sign of the second side to this story anywhere
