190km of TT mileage wasn't it? Bavarianrider would love you (except for the mountain stages, which would frighten Tony off). Andy Schleck would have to be taken away to the funny farm.

Joaquím Rodríguez could feasibly win the lanterne rouge, even after taking a ten minute victory on every MTF :p

'Only' 144 of those are flat:p

In the 2007 tour there was 117 km of ITT, and no MTT. Yet the 2 best climbers in the race (Contador and Rasmussen) was also the best in the gc. In my tour there is a multi-MTT, and FAR more challenging mountain stages, with the last one being 283 km long with 7500 meters of vertical climbing. Something that one team simply shouldn't be able to control.

There are plenty of French climbs that can compete with MOST of what the Giro has to offer (not all, mind).

Yes, but I was talking about my tour, where only very few (Plateau des Saix and Col de Mantet + others) can be considered at the level of the top Giro climbs.

A lot of the complaints seem to centre around the idea that TT is not a good spectacle. Have no more than 3 in a GT then (speaking of prologues, ITT and TTT's), but increase the time on the bike for them. 60-70 km flat ITT, plus a mountainous one. Pretty easy.

UCI rules forbids TT of any art to be longer than 60 km
