That's a fair point about the security of dropbox. I wouldn't want my medical records kept on it.

Better to have just one copy on a laptop and take that all over the world. Or better still no records at all, just keep it all in your head. Can't get more secure than that. I'm struggling to keep up with which of these methods Doc Freeman was going for in 2011 or since

Yes probably, dropbox globally accessible to anyone and thus open to being hacked ...

Yet systems like Drop box and One drive are considered secure enough for Corporate use by some of the world's largest companies :lol:

Damian Collins is a Conservative, the polls suggest that he'll be around after the election. Does the Committee carry on or is it dissolved never to be reformed?

Just a note in case people missed it.

Due to the early election, any committee report will not come until after the election date.
This is due to the rules of Purdah. Only regular ongoing routine communications can be released from 6 weeks before the election

A long-awaited report into an alleged culture of bullying at British Cycling is expected to be published in the week after the 8 June general election.

An investigation started last year after claims made by former Great Britain track sprinter Jess Varnish and other Olympians and Paralympians.

Due to rules preventing publication before an election, the week beginning 12 June is now targeted.

The report - co-commissioned by UK Sport and British Cycling - is now finished.

However, the political convention of purdah, which prevents some government-related announcements before elections, has blocked its release prior to 8 June.

A panel of five - including former England rugby union coach Stuart Lancaster and led by Annamarie Phelps, the chair of British Rowing - has produced the report.

Initial publication was pushed back because of the number of people wanting to speak to the panel, and the legal obligation to give individuals criticised a right of reply led to further delays.

The March leak, published in the Daily Mail, outlined a "culture of fear" at British Cycling, with some staff "bullied".

In response, British Cycling admitted it did not pay "sufficient care and attention" to the wellbeing of staff and athletes at the expense of winning medals.

British Cycling has announced a "timely" overhaul of its medical services for athletes following an independent review.

Dr Rod Jaques, director of medical services at the English Institute of Sport, examined British Cycling's practices after it was scrutinised as part of an anti-doping investigation into a mystery medical package.

His recommendations include the creation of a new 'head of medicine' and a team to look after riders' physical and mental well-being.

He also says there should be a clinical governance committee, which will report to the British Cycling Board and which will monitor the medical services.

Stephen Park, British Cycling's performance director, said: "Dr Jaques' recommendations are timely and sensible."

Both the national governing body and road-racing off-shoot Team Sky were heavily criticised for record-keeping failures at a Culture, Media and Sport select committee hearing in March.

You still don't understand.

The independent report into British Cycling only covered sexism, bullying and harrasment. It by its own words did not cover doping and misappropriation of money.

You can still talk about doping in the Clinic.

Simple.

I think you may be massively overestimating Damien Collins's influence. No one in cycling knows who he is. Barely anyone in British politics know who he is. He's just a Tory backbencher who has the ear of three or four British journalists (not cycling ones)
