Wow, they made a fiction soap of the Ronde in Belgium :)

It's airing this sunday for the first time. All footage filmed during the actual Ronde!

Michel Wuyts, etc all play in it.

Sucks to be not Dutch for some of you guys. ;p
Well, I am Dutch, but I ain't gonna watch that crap. A Belgian soap... the horror.

Even Boonen, one the greatest classic talents of all time, first won P-R at 24. I can't see Sagan or Phinney winning it at 21.

I'll be suprised if Phinney finishes P-R if he rides it.

He's got talent and potential... but I think it will be 2-3 years before he can actually make noise at the big cobbled races, or even be a strong support rider.

Go watch Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden :)

Belgian tv is so much better than Dutch :) Either you rip our tv in a more boring version(man bijt hond) or it's just horrible.

It's no soap like familie or Thuis you know.

I'd like to add Alex Rasmussen to the discussion. No, he probably won't be up there this year, but in the future he could be a real contender. He sprints well, he's a great time trialist and most importantly he's a powerhouse like almost noone else. Brian Holm even stated that he's never seen such a powerful rider before.

I believe he'll be riding his first PR this year, and I think it's a race that's perfectly suited for him. He probably won't be among the top men this year, but in a few years he could be among the favorites - and he could be the big revelation this year.
