I think their squad is a good balance between TTT and climbing. Phinney is the only flat-terrain specialist in this roster.yaco said:

Not surprised that Movistar had a bad TTT considering the roster they took. Soler can do good ITTs, but he's about the only one of the group that took to Colombia. I have a hard time seeing any of their riders gain back the TTT time lost in the mountains.

For some reason Martinez is listed as Elite at http://biciciclismo.com/es/tour-colombia-21-etapas-y-participantes-12-02-2019 and not Joven.
It's an under 25 jersey (according to https://tourcolombiauci.com/lo-que-somos/) so I assume EF must have messed up. (edit - or because he's the nominated team leader they want him to concentrate on the GC?)

EF had the best roster for this TTT and delivered. I'm happy for Dani, he has a chance to be up there in GC if he's in good shape.

Procyclingstats has updated the stage and they have now Martinez as the leader of the youth classification.
The escape group most likely winning the stage. Óscar Sevilla (Medellín) most likely may be the new race leader at the end of the day
