nice talk going out here guys.

duartista,why???
i already said this will be a professional(!!!!) team.you come here in europe with that voodoo-rainforest diet, big mistake, the today's peloton will eat you alive.people still talking 1994 blablabla, but if they come again in europe with the colombia es pasion attitude, they won't make it to the first climb of the day, they will be all over the place.it would break my heart to see them coming here as sacrificial lambs.but it won't happen.that's why they hired corti.

CEP had some decent results. The problem was lack of money and going PCT after losing their two best riders (Duarte and Henao) in successive seasons.

this is the future.medical science, biochemistry, technology of all sorts.of course not everyone has sky's budget but you have to find the best ways to improve your riders condition.so chapeau whoever puts the money for this!

PATOMACPATO,your inside infos are welcomed, nice to hear.but you make huge drama out of nothing.indeed clopataofsky probably is corrupt to the bones,he's doing politics ok...but you do realize that this guy is small compared to others involved in european, american pro cycling?we got russian mobsters, kazakh oil gangsters, becca, rihs, murdoch, italian gentleman that make offers you can't refuse and so on?you can't expect a a shy, humble guy to come here and play at bosses table, you need a fox.that's what jairo MUST be.

JENs. My inside infonis relevant in the sense that Colpa will not be at Coldeportes for long. Our President is effective and fast, ans Clopa is nuts!...just read his comments. There's another reason why this Team as it is will not last: Not a clear stand against doping.( hiring Marco Corti and then had to abort it, and that was due to local pressure.)..there are people in the government monitoring this in particular, Colombia is rebulding his image, and will not take risks..there are terrible people surrounding the team..CEP before being pro conti ran for two years his own bio passport at a cost od us250 a year, that critical part of the mission for an Intl team..belive me, the team as it is now will not go for long..and Corti will have to assume stric policices against doping if he wants to stay..for our government firts is ethics then comes results...wait and see:rolleyes:

By the way JENs this picture corresponds to the Center of altitude training at Bogota, exactlly the same place where CEP did it's testing..unfortunately some equipment is out of date..the guy in the picture is VICTOR H PENA the mastermind of this whole thing..the same guy that literally savotaged CEP last year during his races in Europe! Just because he was setting up his team, and to some extent that was the reason for so lousy results in Italy... Goor ride my friend!

Finally the end for clopa

I TOLD YOU MY FRIENDS.. THE PRESIDENT WASN'T HAPPY AT ALL WITH WHAT CLOPA WAS DOING..He did everything under the table, with the wrong people, against Goverment directions.. AND CLOPA IS OUT!! YEAHH!!! New Director (never a Minister of Sports as Colpa daydreamed) is ANDRES BOTERO, former COC President..

A move in the right direction, and hope Andres will support the team, now with a clear and more professional direction.. Corti has to follow more strict doping policies, otherwise he would be out sooner than later. Hope his "contacts" are the good ones, not the ones of Moises Duenas and his son!... Corti could do an excellent job, but has to move on to the new cycling..

This is my last forum participation here, I just wanted to show the reality of this clown, Clopa, and his terrible advisors.. that still belive that cycling is doping. That's part of the past, and in Colombia we are well behind Europe, but we will continue moving forward, not backward as some of Clopas advisors wanted..

VIVA COLOMBIA, VIVA SANTOS our PRESIDENT!!:D:D

So long my friends!.. We did it!!!

btw not found any website that confirms clopatofsky is out

So why are you concerned if the team is government sponsored?...wait and see..by the way now the government HAS to support the team, you that seems to know everything should be aware of UCI requirements for a Conti Pro team..

how many failed tests didn the RCN had? Some of them of a famous doctor!

Impossible. Colombians are like Warcraft orcs, a noble warrior race. They'd never stoop to this because every single one of them is immensely talented anyway.

There was one failed test in the RCN, no? Although there was a rumour that another rider was taken to hospital after a bad transfusion.

Where does Coldeportes funding come from if not govt.?

there are always rumors in every colombian race. mostly started by riders saying the rider who won was doped like how especially boyaca riders said rujano was doped in 2009. all bs

They dope just like riders of any other country.

The problem is that the advantage is diminished by their size and the higher hematocrit that they have to begin with. So in that respect the Colombian riders are at disadvantage. Just saying.

One failed test with 100% certainty (from the famous doctor that you and I dislike)!.. Rumors of more, but will never know as The Colombian Cycling Federation is not giving away information. Your story about the transfusion is true as well, the rider now on Dialysis.

SADLY and UNFORTUNATELY this whole situation in Colombia is bad, really bad.. Even in the "private words" of Corti when meeting with former CEP riders which came from a very strict team, with their own control methods.

The money of Coldeportes Team comes from their own budget, which they allocatate according to their own critiera; however ALL resources to Coldeportes comes from the central government, which never gets involved in their internal decisions; except for a legal framework that they have to observe.

Merry Christmas.. Duartista.. (why not Nairista-- much better preson!)

Not sure exactly how to explain it, but I've always heard people use both, and it's always sounded right to me.
