Gibo's been brought on in an advisory role. I love it!!:)

fantastic news. I saw tarining video although gibo decided not to go because of all the snow :D

edit: I think it's just because he lives there and likes to find new climbs. where did you read abotu advisory role?

He used to ride for Corti in his old Saeco days. It was in an old cn article. Corti likely brought him aboard considering the emphasis on climbing.:)

Suarez did 1 race + he is also pretty active on twitter giving some updates about training (cant always follow everything he tweets, cause my spanish is far from perfect), but he is not injured or anything.

I can only assume it's a question of form. On paper he would have been their best rider (other than Duarte) for the hilly one day races they've done recently.

I think he's out of shape then or something. suarez is usually not often in good shape in beginning of a season.

Interesting & welcoming -Gibo's experience is well received-specially since his climbing affinity with my compatriots strength in that discipline would bring even better results- love it:)

Looks good indeed- A year ago when the team was beginning to be assembled-Prudhomme was asked about the possibilities of inviting a Colombian team to participate in the Tour de France and he said he'd be delighted-and if results are coming-he'll foresee the invitation coming as late as 2013-Plus Hinault himself has non other than praises for a Colombian team to come back once again to the French roads.:)

well , everybody wants them
now they should start to perform
actually chavez looked the one in best shape

the team is ok, but they really needed infantino and beltran.
the team lacks some depth.
i expect more from jarlinson pantano and atapuma

up to date, chavez and pantano did something in reggio ( they went out from the bunch with many km to go, an action done just to show they were there, with no real chances)and osorio was part in the early morning fuga in laigueglia but he was the first one to be dropped.

they should really show up in tirreno.

yes they aren't riding well right now other than duarte and chavez but they crashed. the problem are also the courses. they are all flat, calabria were 2 sprinters stages. laigueglia has become a sprintersrace too. lugano usually always ends in a 25 men sprint and that's about all they rode. the calendar should've been different. less focused on italy who have almost all races canceled and more on france which is more stable and haut var was a good course

Of course, I'd forgotten that Horner had never raced in Europe before, chapeau to him.

Horner is like wine, he gets better with age.

The Colombians are more like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get

So who from the Coldeportes squad actually never raced in Europe before? That U23 Varese world champion? That Giro stage winner? That Tour de l'Avenir winner? That TdF yellow jersey wearer? That two Tour de l'Ain Top 10 finishers?

That is still a different level than World Tour. Where non except Duarte and Pena have any experience with

It definitively is. That's why a slow build-up towards European racing is needed, not a first-year GT invitation for which some people here screamed for. At the moment Coldeportes only has three riders in their line-up which are able to simply finish a GT.

I was expecting bigger things from them in today's stage. Could it be that they still need to adapt to the race rhythm in Europe? Or is it that they're still not used to the fact that they're racing more and more now with their schedule?
