- The route was changed during last week... Instead of returning thru the other side of the same boulevard, they will be closing the loop using different roads (shorter lap). It was set to 19 loops or 228 Kms
- Boyacá decided to not participate... That's adding to Movistar riders also declining (I'm not sure if this is something about regional rivalry, politics or just a bad coincidence)
After 13 laps, a break of 22 (all locals) has 3 minutes on the pack, led by Manzana and EF sometimes

Orgullo Paisa will not race the COyP (such a ridiculous name!) given that one of the sponsors is a spirit (Aguardiente Antioqueño)
