Besides stage victories, Omega has a strong White jersey contender.
That competition should be exciting.
Coupled with breakaway specialists and riders who can ride some difficult climbs from time to time, Omega might collect some competitive times for the teams' qualification, as well.
They'll be visible, that's certain.

Kwiatkowski? maybe if the Tour will be suspended after the TTT.

I hope K and Velits both have to support Cav.

Trying not to be greedy, but the comments from the team read very well.

End of train will be Cav - Steegmans - Trentin - Martin.

Pineau there to pull the peloton and wipe Cav's bum in the mountains.

Velits & Terpstra specifically noted as there to control flat stages, and both plenty strong enough to be excellent parts of the early lead out.

K. goes for white.

Chav is 'committed to the team work we are looking for from our riders. '

I really don't think sprint trains are that important once they hit a threshold of being good enough to keep you at the front, and get you in to the last 300m within 3m of the front guy, and this team is certainly that. Having Tony back will be massive for Cav - he was always the real power behind the HTC train, giving a massive margin for error when you know he can pull the last 3 guys from from 3k to 1k, and move them right up if they fall back a bit.

He'll be a factor in the White jersey competition.
Showed this spring he can climb with the best.

I don't think so, Quintana, van Garderen, Pinot, Talansky and so on are all still eligable as well

Monster team. Most stages won by a team in one Tour edition is 11 i think (post-war)? They could get very close.

Agree with theyoungest. Don't think there's much chance of that with Kittel, Greipel, and Sagan also aiming at the sprints.

Off course they are.
Some of them are better than Kwiatkowski on climbs, and with others he can ride both on the climbs and in time trials.
So he should definitely be in the mix.

Climbing in a one week stage race is not the same as in a GT, a reason why Fuglsang can't be called a contender for GC since he's never shown anything in a three week race.

Agreed. No way Kwia is in the final battle for white.

Could be that OPQS are the ones being greedy. Sprint Stages, Green, White, ITTs, TTT and Chav will obviously get a chance or 2. Big ask that.

Hopefully they're only giving Chav stages 9 and 16.

ITT and TTT are obvious are not too onerous. Kwia will presumably ride on his own with Velits giving token support, until he has a bad day.

I'm pretty comfortable than Velits, Terpstra, Martin, Trentin & Steegmans are more than good enough to get Cav up there and let him win or lose on his own merit.

OPQS will probably win the most stages in the tour thanks to Cav & Martin. In terms of the TTT I think Sky & BMC are the two teams most likely to beat them and I think Froome will win the MTT.

Going to be quite demeaning for Degenkolb, but frankly his flat sprinting in the first half of the year has been very poor, so a spot of leadout work won't hurt.

"Timmer is an invisible force and knows without question what he needs to do and when. Before anyone else thinks about it, he has already done it"

Think the Argos press team have been on the pop.

Great team. I'll cheer for them.

Dege + Kittel could be an amazing combination in the sprint finishes. Hope they work it out nicely. Usually they get along quite good, but have rarely raced together in recent times.

Press release says Veelers is the leadout man - Deg will just be horsepower earlier on.

More surprising Renshaw isn't included. And Slagter. But probably he'll go to Vuelta I guess.
