ok, so it looks like Basso will have to wait to get the leaders jersey until one of the later stages. This team will not be able to defend a race leader for say 10-14 stages imo.

I think Basso will be lucky if he will be in one day in the leader's jersey. He'll finish somehwere around 4- 8 th place in GC. Not much higher imo.

Good strong team but would have preferred Lopez to Puccio after his ENECO win. Do you reckon Rowe will be the sprinter or be a lead-out man for EBH?

EBH will surely be the leader in 2nd and 3rd week in sprints etc. Plus the main guy to go into breaks too from Sky.

1st week if there's any sprints, Rowe might be given a chance ( as EBH always needs few race days to get into good rhytm, especially as its his first race back from injury)

Really good squad. Henao will fight for the podium, i don't know what Uran's objective will be, but Eddy definitely will get his chance to fight for a stage win.

Will they give Cataldo a kind of a free role?

Garmin

KREDER Michel
MARTIN Daniel
NUYENS Nick
VANSUMMEREN Johan
FAIRLY Caleb
HOWES Alex
RASMUSSEN Alex
FERNANDEZ Koldo
FARRAR Tyler

Martin will be lonely in the moutains :p If he fails to deliver, it might be an non event for Garmin, unless Farrar wins a stage, which is highly unlikely. Will watch Howes with intrest.

Alex Howes is sort of a climber too. But yeah, not a team of mountain goats.
