I think it serves as quite a useful reminder of just how deeply engrained doping is within the sport when you are having to go down to 20th place to find someone who hasn't been implicated in doping or been banned or confessed years later.

True, but...

It is nice for someone other than that most diabolical doper of all time to get some acclaim and lost funds (tangential logic I know). I am so sick of the sectarian Dopestrongers ranting their foul propaganda, while soaking in the financial glory of the pseudo-clean, prima facie, Mr. A.

And, for the record some riders like Ullrich 'never tested positive either'. Using the LA camps logic he should be listed as the winner for all those doped LA years, instead of being called 'second'.

Finally, not all dopers dope evenly. Not all dopers have the same access to dope or funds to buy dope, or number of dopers to support them. Some people say that Ullrich never let his HCT go beyond 43.

A slippery slope I know.
