And that is partly the problem I have with it all. He was tested the day before and there was nothing. This kills off the argument that it is a trace amount indicating he took a larger amount a day or two earlier. That leaves us with the idea that he intentionally took a very low (and apparently fairly pointless) amount.

Would be a lot more comfortable with it all if it wasn't so inexplicable...

But would make a whole of a lot of sense if he blood doped on the rest day and the blood had trace amounts of it - losing weight prior to the tour...

We already knew that Damsgaard is corrupt. Now we know that he is an idiot as well. FLandis' B samples were tested and many came up positive for testosterone. The idea that he tested positive from a testosterone tainted blood transfusion does not match the facts, and people should stop promoting this debunked theory.

If this is the case, it would mean that even if Contie gets of scott free on this one, he could likely be busted due to the blood passport, as this would be showable in his profile. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why the UCI needs more scientific investigation

As for the first one, his two business partners with whom he started that anti-doping business, kicked him out saying he could no longer be trusted and that he was accepting gifts from the teams he was supposed to be monitoring.

Those were his clients. He started a business with two other associates. That business (among other things) managed the anti-doping program for some teams.

Ok, so his testosterone values were "stable" during his tfd-tests, or did it vary, making it likely that a transfusion containing more testosterone had actually taken place. Because it could have been a situation were both things are true..?

Fuyu Li should be happy. When the UCI lets Contador off, it will give the Chinese carte blanche to let their rider off.

The truly funny thing about this is watching all the Armstrong chamois sniffers dancing in the streets unaware, or too stupid to figure out, that this will damage Armstrong's credibility in the eyes of the American public. pretty much... in light of evrything there is no chance Spain sanctions him... then the UCI and the WADA will take it to the CAS. And they can't dismiss it cause there was something there... but they'll give him like a 3 month ban. and he'll crush AS next July to show him this year was a fluke al-la Jan in 03

this is news to me as well. As with most doping controls, it's about the single positive. If landis was positive earlier in the tour, he would have been declared as much.

But then again, I never paid much attention to the circus that his case had become.....

All the results on the first page of the search term you suggest appear to be about the B sample taken after Stage 17. There doesn't appear to be anything about tests from other stages.

Please try being helpful. You can plainly see that this is news to a lot of readers here.
