Harvey was diagnosed with a condition called acromegalia and rushed into surgery at Royal Melbourne Hospital in 1999. A tumour resting on the pituitary gland at the base of his brain was secreting huge amounts of human growth hormone.
The slow-progressing condition was causing a wide range of problems: pins and needles in his arm, bowel trouble, kidney problems and migraines. It also enlarged his hands, feet and nose, as well as his skull, brow and jaw.
Facial aspect of a patient with acromegaly. The cheekbones are obvious, the forehead bulges, the jaw is enlarged and facial lines prominent. The forehead and overlying skin is thickened, which may lead to frontal bossing (an unusually prominent forehead sometimes with a heavy brow ridge).

Nothing to see here folks, just move along. Just crazy conspiracy theorists here.
i said this thread is unscientific, not the whole idea behind it. It's unscientific because we don't have the tools nor the data to pass judgment with any sort of confidence. It basically boils down to "did you believe this person used hgh before entering this thread? If so, here's something for you to talk about".blackcat said:I would actually wish to rebut the "unscientific" claim. Doctors conduct visual examinations for symptoms. There is facial recognition software in security. There is no doubt Bonds head has enlarged, not only from larger intra facial white tissue and muscle.

blackcat said:Actually this is wrong. Personally, I benchmark Contador's natural visage as a young rider on Saiz' ONCE squadra, and then have seen his eyebrows go haywire, his brow ridge become more prominent, his jaw elongate, and his teeth compact and skew.
Mrs John Murphy said:Is it me or has something odd happened to Contador's head and face. It seems to have changed (got longer more horse-like) over the years.
What the hell has happened to his eyes/brow?

HGH?
Boeing said:I dont know about his head but it appears he and his teammate seem quite proud of their new teeth
Mrs John Murphy said:Not quite as pathetic as commenting on a thread you don't like while ripping off the Simpsons in a failed attempt to appear with it.
If you don't like a discussion about whether Contador is showing the effects of HGH then no one is forcing you to read it let alone respond to it.

Mrs John Murphy said:I don't get why people who hate doping discussions come into the clinic to tell people that they hate doping discussions. That is akin to going into a Chinese restaurant and complaining that all they do is serve Chinese food. It's a little bit mentally ****ed up IMO.
