I would actually wish to rebut the "unscientific" claim. Doctors conduct visual examinations for symptoms. There is facial recognition software in security. There is no doubt Bonds head has enlarged, not only from larger intra facial white tissue and muscle.

There is only so much lighting can distort an underlying bone structure, and be a visual illusion, even when a rider has ridden half a dozen 20 thousand mile pro seasons and all that tissue on the face has disappeared. The underlying bone structure IS. It is what it is, and if it alters, either the pituitary gland is going haywire like a person with endogenous acromegaly, or they are supplementing with hgh. Who thinks Christiano Ronaldo's jawling and forehead is a naturally sharp as that? It is like it has been hewn on a knife sharpener. There was a link a poster put up before: http://tiny.cc/mjwan

Harvey was diagnosed with a condition called acromegalia and rushed into surgery at Royal Melbourne Hospital in 1999. A tumour resting on the pituitary gland at the base of his brain was secreting huge amounts of human growth hormone.
The slow-progressing condition was causing a wide range of problems: pins and needles in his arm, bowel trouble, kidney problems and migraines. It also enlarged his hands, feet and nose, as well as his skull, brow and jaw.

acromegaly symptoms pic, from wiki.

Facial aspect of a patient with acromegaly. The cheekbones are obvious, the forehead bulges, the jaw is enlarged and facial lines prominent. The forehead and overlying skin is thickened, which may lead to frontal bossing (an unusually prominent forehead sometimes with a heavy brow ridge).

Yep. I don't see a difference, since Cameron started working out with her boyfriend (admitted steroid user Alex Rodriguez).

Nothing to see here folks, just move along. Just crazy conspiracy theorists here.

Great post. This is explosive stuff.

You've proved that Hollywood actresses looks better in press conferences than they do in their day to day lives. Yet they hide behind these 'stylists' and 'make-up artists' when it's clear that it's the likes of Fuentes and Ferrari.

You've blown it wide open. Excellent insight. Where does this fraud end? It makes me doubt all the Hollywood lies. Is Johnny Depp really a pirate? Is Matt Damon really a secret agent? Does Anthony Hopkins eat people?

My whole belief system is now in turmoil.

Not quite as pathetic as commenting on a thread you don't like while ripping off the Simpsons in a failed attempt to appear with it.

If you don't like a discussion about whether Contador is showing the effects of HGH then no one is forcing you to read it let alone respond to it.

i said this thread is unscientific, not the whole idea behind it. It's unscientific because we don't have the tools nor the data to pass judgment with any sort of confidence. It basically boils down to "did you believe this person used hgh before entering this thread? If so, here's something for you to talk about".

Mind you that goes for most threads ie No way X is clean, which are based on observations about how people are riding ie FC climbed X faster than anyone else in history hence and therefore, even a 'scientific' discussion such as Dertie's Verbier climb in 2009 isn't that scientific.

And besides, it's boring to keep on talking about Armstrong when there are so many other dopers to talk about. They deserve their clinic time :)

No vanity in Hollywood.

It is SO crazy to suggest that entertainers would take PEDs.

Actually this is wrong. Personally, I benchmark Contador's natural visage as a young rider on Saiz' ONCE squadra, and then have seen his eyebrows go haywire, his brow ridge become more prominent, his jaw elongate, and his teeth compact and skew.

Naugh. He just pedals faster. Increases blood flow and results in rapid hair growth and excessive GT's.

Is it me or has something odd happened to Contador's head and face. It seems to have changed (got longer more horse-like) over the years.

What the hell has happened to his eyes/brow?

Darn it. Murphy's thread opener made me spill my cornflakes all over my keyboard.

Then Benotti came along with his comment about Jeannie Longo. Indeed, again my keyboard got the orange juice I was drinking spilled all over it.

I just finished cleaning up the whole mess, and now you make me spill my coffee all over it again.

does anybody have a side-angled foto of dirtie from, say, 2005 for comparison?

Senor Contador must have an extensive archive, but he might not share!

PS it can be dangerous to keyboards to read the clinic while 'beveraging'. I know, mine is coffee stained :D

While I doubt Clenbutador as much as the next beef loving guy, I don't see much change in his facial structure. Certainly nothing like Barry Bonds or Ronaldo (the fat one).

Since it was directed at me (as the thread starter) it is likely I would respond no?

I don't get why people who hate doping discussions come into the clinic to tell people that they hate doping discussions. That is akin to going into a Chinese restaurant and complaining that all they do is serve Chinese food. It's a little bit mentally ****ed up IMO.
