Yes! She is pretty clearly Dutch.

The same accusation has been made in this thread of Felix English and Przemyslaw Niemiec.

I know, that's why I was asking if this applies too.

English and Niemiec are words that (can) refer to people, why Poland refers to the country, so it's a bit different.

He could become a legitimate pretender to the British throne with a name like this

Not a rider name, but on the start list for the Tour of Estonia, there is a five-man team with the name May Stars, so it seems like it's the right month for them to compete. Their roster consists of a classic combination of 2 Swedes and 3 Rwandans.

I have already mentioned the young Belgian, Gianluca Pollefliet, once in this thread.

Twitter has brought my attention to another aspect of his name. He was born around nine months after his namesake Gianluca Bortolami won De Ronde van Vlaanderen :p

Has anyone ever accused Finn Fisher-Black of being Finnish?
Presumably an abbreviation of Finlay, Fintan or (if his family has Cork connections) Finbarr, all of which essentially translate as fair haired. How true you consider that to be might vary considerably according to what photo you are looking at at the time, but easy to believe that it was fair when he was young.

Had to do a double-take during Elfstedenronde when this epically named guy appeared on the screen:

I think I might have found a candidate for the "Most Consontants in Beginning of Name" competition:

I don't really understand why Mielke and Schmidt find it difficult to pronounce. But then unlike me they've probably never holidayed in Gschwendt am Wolfgangsee.
