I like Steven Kruijswijk because I have no idea how to pronounce it plus your guys nickname for him is funny.
Ben Swift and I liked Il Piccolo Principe for the nickname.
Kruijswijk seems like a good name for a battleship or a cruiser, hence i sometimes call him "the sunken one" or "Bismarck".

All Lithuanian names are awesome. It's like "2500 BC called, it wants its names back".
Glad, there's no Greek rider (afaik) with a name Papadopulos. You also should be thankful the most known Polish guys have easy surnames like Paterski, Niemiec (means German, literally), Kwiatkowski or Majka (a diminutive of a female name Maja). You could have such atrocities like Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz. Try to say this one. But still, there's Gołaś (change to "golas" and you have "naked").

my favourit is Majka - in Czech Majka is well recognized brand of paté so his nickname is clear ;)
Jack Bauer obviously and all the colombians - Winner Anacona, Jarlinson Pantano and Darwin Atapuma
No love for the best named Colombian other than Winner, that is to say Robigzon Oyola Oyola?
Only because of his double name, but i remember, there was a guy back in the day named Mesa Mesa or similar. I sadly don't remember his same.

This one is a chessplayer, but i need to share this one, as it's probably one of the most difficult surnames i've seen: Ian Nepomniachtchi. Illnur Zakharin reminds me of saccharine. Beat Breu is also an interesting name. Peter Wenning (i'm by-winning), Michael Boogerd (booger), Van Impe (imp), Simone Stortoni (tort - cake), Dario Frigo (sunds like a fruit drink juice), Raimondas Rumsas (Rumcajs), Georg Totschnig (it just sounds funny), Vladimir Duma (his surname means "pride"), Fortunato Baliani (obvious reason), Rujano (like Rihanna, it sounds similar to a pejorative rhyming with Fred Fuchs). I'm sorry for this one, but also Scarponi (scraponi).

IMHO it's the first name that makes it great, Robigzon :) Do you know Robinson Crusoe?

Omar Fraile (because of what Fraile means here)
The biggest shame for Fraile name-wise is that he doesn't ride for Abarcá, that would just make it perfect.
I don't get it, can you explain please?
The folks at Abarca are nicknamed los frailes ("the friars").
Thank you. In Czech it means miss, for many with some negative conotation, like self-important or something. For me simply pretty young lady :)

Challenge for you guys: Are there any cyclist with a NORMAL name?

'Hansen' is a pretty normal name... So, that's two (four if you count the Normans, and I guess they are in fact called Hansen, even though they're rarely referred to by that name, at least Lasse isn't). Though, I suppose it might be a bit more normal in Denmark than in Australia.
Also 'Jensen' - which BTW is a very nice name. :D
In fact the Danish 'sen' names are pretty common, which might actually be why there are several riders known by their more interesting middle names.
Suppose 'Janse van Rensburg' must also be pretty normal, considering DiDa has two guys called that, who aren't related in any way.

There was a short report on Dutch television about Winner Anacona. He was apparently named after the Dutch cyclist Peter Winnen (which means Peter 'Winning'), but they made a mistake, hence Winner.

Poor Colombians tend to have tendency to get English book and pick a random word. Colombian friend met a guy with first name ''Gudmornin'' , just Colombian things

Anyway coolest name will be the upcoming future talent of wbeimar gaviria , the better gaviria

1.Rigoberto Uran shares first half of his first name with the last half of my first name.
2.Daniel Teklehaimanot because of the long last name that is actually easy to pronounce.
3.Reinhardt Janse van Rensburg sounds like royalty.
4.Ryder Hesjedal because the first name is so suitable.
5.Amets Txurruka just because of the Tx of the last name.
6.Rein Taaramae sounds solid.
7.Leontien van Moorsel because the first name gives a lioness image.
