I like Laurens De Plus. "De Plus" totally sounds like something they'd say in Madrid in the 80s.

Ben Swift and I liked Il Piccolo Principe for the nickname.

More funny than cool, but seriously; Forfang!

Funny in Danish, can't really translate it. Something like catching (at/by) the front.

Not a cyclist, but there is a ski jumper named Johann Andre Forfang :D

being Thibaut Pinot should buy you a tot in every dive in burgundy .... would be even better if he had a teammate by the name of Cabernet or Chardonnay ...

I know they aren't technically in the peloton anymore, but apparently there's a trio of former riders named Omloop.

Johnnie Walker. I remember him getting the most screen time of everyone despite only sitting in the back of the peloton a few Vuelta's ago.

Lol that is great. Similar to Rigoberto Uran Uran.

Most were named already, so probably I'll repeat some. Most Basque names, in Czech and Slovak Mikel Landa kinda sticks out because his second name has funny connection to well known Czech lad named Landa too.
Sam Oomen, you know, like good omen... Antwan Tolhoek, Wout Poels, Vojtech Hačecký, Leopold König, Rasmus Guldhammer, Gediminas Bagdonas, Ramunas Navardauskas and almost any other Lithuanian name), Mauro Da Dalto, Brent Bookwalter, Grega Bole, Tsgabu Grmay, Daniel Oss (given he's Italian, would you believe that?), Owain Doull, Tiziano Dall'Antonia, Tanel Kangert, Boy van Poppel (because what boy means in English and popel in Czech), Svein Tuft, Nuno Bico, Eros :) Capecchi, Iljo Keisse (Iljo Belgian name, really? sounds Russian), Daniel Teklehaimanot, Omar Fraile (because of what Fraile means here), Silvio Herklotz somehow, Jhonatan Restrepo (it's Jonathan normally isn't it and the second name is cool too), Tao Geoghegan Hart, Lennard Kämna (because of what that means in here), Elia Viviani is onomatopoic, almost any long name like Jose Cayetano Sarmiento Tunarossa or Ariel Maximiliano Richeze (because I find long names ludicrous at least; in case of Richeze his first name Ariel, famous washing powder), and, of course, Mauke Bollema. And many more.

Sonny Colbrelli is pretty cool. Taken out of a Godfather movie.
I've never seen the godfather.

I have to say I've played a lot of GTA Vice City, which has been inspired by it, and it seems like a name that would fit in perfectly
Man, don't even say aloud you haven't seen Godfather...
