I imagine that's either an administrative issue or the UCI imposing Western standards and naming conventions on Pakistanis? Someone please go down this rabbit hole
Although I suspect that those riding in a national championship are from a more West-wards looking element in society there, I wonder whether there is some deliberate anonymity being employed in view of possible attitudes to women in sport (I don't see the same in the men's results).
I hope that that isn't felt necessary, but can't help wondering. But that is getting much more serious than this thread intends, and I can't follow that idea for long without having to sanction myself for discussion of politics.

The mythical Paris-Rouen race of 1869 had a female competitor called "Miss America", who was either French or English (accounts differ). It's quite a good ploy to put people off your trail. That race also had a competitor with the interesting name "Tricycle Tissier".

For what it's worth, according to the Wikipedia article on Pakistani naming conventions it's way more common for women to not have surnames, so that might explain the difference.

Hence why I need somebody to research this properly, come on guys, you know you don't have anything better to do, get on it, chop chop

In case anyone has any doubts about this guy's nationality:

(Though, I guess it should have been "Defrancois"...)

This young lady, otoh, could cause some confusion:

And now for a race with a cool name:
The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's Cup Tour of Thailand (both men's and women's editions)

How many races can claim to be named after an actual princess?

The Princess Anna Vasa Tour is one. There's also the GP Chantal Biya named after the president's wife, while this rider is an actual Princess: https://firstcycling.com/rider.php?r=218354

I'm sorry, this is the least threatening name in the history of names.
Imagine being ahead and getting told "Dunwoody" is chasing you. Sounds like a Mickey Mouse character
