Well, it's hard to know what would have happened, those points were by no means guaranteed. And if Ricco had done well, maybe some of my other guys wouldn't have scored as many points in those races (although he was my only Vac rider so he probably wouldn't have taken away more than a single place from anyone). Regardless, yeah it's nice to think I'd be in the top 10 with Ricco, but I'm currently in 24th place and there are 8 guys ahead of me that had Ricco too so it's not like I'd be the only one benefitting.

Yeah you're right, however, although i didn't check in details the composition of the top 10, but i guess there is only one team with Ricco in it. But after all this is part of the game, i'm not gonna complain. Having Ricco on a team is a risk by itself.
I have also Tondo on the team, he died, Ruben Plaza, injured since the beginning of the season. Maybe the Vuelta would be good for him.

I know thanks to this season some good picks for next season, especially since some of my choices so far have appeared to have been duds, mainly due to injuries and the like

Thanks for the update ingsve, I've been hoping for an in-depth update like this for awhile. I can't believe your lead is so large, I didn't think it'd be possible for one team to stand out so highly in this game. I must say, as someone who has been excited about this game from the get-go, it's nice to see a person in the lead who is an active poster, who got in on the game in the first day, and who has been talking about it all along. The Vuelta is a big hurdle, but soon enough you'll be able to take 'future' out of your signature, I think...

Well, even if I was to be on the top spot after LBL I wouldn't claim victory before december 31st I think given the cloud that is hovering over Cunego and Ballan with CONI's investigation.

Oh well, next monday I'll update - I promise :D

I suppose if there's one good thing about them, drawn out investigations ensure maximum suspense for cycling fantasy games...

Right on, maybe the best week of the year so far for me! Gerrans 1st, Dowsett 5th in Denmark, with Modolo picking up a bunch of points for high stage finishes. Cobo third in Burgos, and although Kessiakoff's 12th in Poland wasn't the greatest, there were only a few riders above him that alot of people had. So, not bad.

This week, maybe different. Gusev for Benelux (if he's on form he could do great, good on tt's and short climbs) as well as the ever-underperforming Ciolek. But that's it.

For Utah, Van Garderen has a good shot at a high placing, and Vlad Efimkin is finally racing (as I expected him to be retired anything is a bonus at this point)... Vandevelde and Deignan could maybe score some points to.

Other than that, nothing in Portugal or l'Ain. Oh well, this week was nice at least...

Oh and ACF, yeah I'm also in the club of people who've been making lists for next year since about March. So you're by no means alone.

Taylor Phinney won something! Is there perhaps a shot that he might be able to break even still this year?

Yes, there is a shot. He only needs 120 more points and for every stage he is in yellow he gets another10 points. I don't know what the rest of his program is this year though but a top 10 showing in the world ITT could go a long way.

Normally I'd say 'no'. The only neo-pros I have are Dowsett and Herrada, who were nearly free, because I decided most of those young guns would struggle in their first year, so I said no to Matthews, Degenkolb, Phinney and the like. That... turned out to not be such a good idea (u23 riders in Conti teams are pros anyway). Fortunately I didn't know Kittel so I didn't even consider getting him - one less regret.

Anyone kind enough to do a score update for lazy types like myself.

My contention is that I killed all o' you doubters this last week.

EDIT - it seems unlikely, given the CQ people are snoozing and havent produced an update yet.

Nontheless, Gerrens & co have done me proud I am sure.

You did do well, up to second, above me now. I think ingsve again extended his lead, now 1125, amazing.

The latest update has the Eneco Tour prologue included even though it is after the normal deadline of Sunday for updates.
