First stage is underway. What type of riders are the favourites for today? Well certainly the Alaphilippe type of riders I would say. I think Van Aert could do very well here, depends on the work he does for the team before the finale.
I think there might be small gaps among the GC contenders. The less explosive riders could lose some seconds.

For the overall, I'll go with:

* Roglic
**** Bernal, Pogacar
*** Quintana, Pinot, A. Yates, Alaphilippe
** Porte, Buchmann, Sivakov, Landa, G. Martin, Higuita, Lopez
* Dumoulin, D. Martin, Uran, Bardet, Mas, Kruijswijk, Valverde and whoever is left out.

Crazy strong lineup this year!

Responsible crowd.

Well, it is a good moment for the hotel chain to advertise
