A proper GT race is mostly a boring race. As a true cycling fan you tend to appreciate the boredom. And in all this boredom sometimes you do get a special moment. Hard to ask for more and you should appreciate it.

Pogacar must be some sort of luck vampire. Nothing really goes right for anyone else on the team when he's not around and most of them look disorganised and diminished without him.

Interesting point. I think Grand Tours are a bit like test match cricket. Except test matches only last 5 days
. But I find neither cricket nor grand tours boring. Mostly boring for non fans of these sports.
