Super win for Verona.
Roglic is where he probably wants to be at this stage. Vingegaard, though, is going to be incredible next month. Quite a duo, and one that should make Pogacar's road to a three-peat bumpy.
Hopefully tomorrow we can see some fireworks from the others, because otherwise it will be an easy 1-2 for Jumbo. Watch out for FDJ and Ineos!
Vingegaard: "I was able to follow, well, not Primoz, but the guy behind him".
Dude, you were battling Ben O'Connor for a podium spot in the Tour last year... And you don't even know his name? He really seems rather oblivious with some of his quotes.
Jumbo Visma is taking the piss in the Dauphine - They've barely raised a sweat while winning two stages and being one two on GC.
Pogacar will smash them. It will be gruesome. There will be lots of interesting stuff though: the scenery, the podium battle, the green Jersey and how much Pog is holding back.I feel so conflicted. It would be amazing for Denmark if Vingegaard won the Tour.
But I really hope Roglic wins. It's going to be a crazy month. I just hope that Pogacar is not ten levels above them.
To be fair to him, I doubt he was thinking a lot about O'Connor in that race.

The final climb today was the first 4.5 km of Sabot. I think it counts as steep. Not so steep stuff would have been a better description.
That said, O'Connor is really good on tempogrinders
Yeah, I didn't realize that it was that steep. The final climb today was the first 4.5 km of Sabot. I think it counts as steep.

That's what's interesting. Will they unleash the Wouts? Will he have to work in vain for Roglic? Will he go rogue? Is he too good to be a domestique? If Van Aert is unleashed, there will not be a battle for the green jersey.
What did you expect? He is not a climber but Jumbo can't deny resources to the number 2 rider in the WT ranking unless they want him to leave.
Good thing you're not the manager of a cycling team. Then have him leave. Not worth risking a GT victory over SVAs feelings
He wins races, and good races at that so why on earth would they let him leave? Then have him leave. Not worth risking a GT victory over SVAs feelings

He did namedrop O’Connor, Caruso and Gaudu a few moments later, thoughI think he's a bit disrespectful towards his rivals. When he was asked who would be among Jumbo's competitors in this race a few days ago, he was like "Uh, UAE, they're usually good, uh..."
He didn't have a clue who else was doing the race. Maybe he just sees his rivals like some evil computer game bosses who need to be defeated rather than fellow cyclists.
Also, "uh, which one is the blue jersey"?
Come on...

Take a look at the positioning of the intermediates. They need to just separate them better. Trying for yellow and green in the Tour up against Pogacar is not smart imo. Even when it was 9 rider teams, that was tough, never mind at 8.
Yeah, I 100% agree. He comes off a bit arrogant when he pretends not to know what the blue jersey is, who's wearing it (Ganna...) and the name of O'Connor, even though the opposite is probably his intention.I think he's a bit disrespectful towards his rivals. Wow Cattaneo, obviously saving his best legs to work for Masnada in the tour
Shh, no one invited sensible comments on this issue, it deserves more petty drama! It doesn't have to be a big conflict. Yellow takes priority, so Van Aert should be a dom in echelons and on cobbles. The rest of the time he is free to chase green. Like Sagan in 2015.
