I'm not making any allusions here, but I'm just cautioning against drawing a lot of conclusions from the CDL.

I remember that one year (2004?) and hearing Liggett say about Kloden at CDL vs. Tour, "A few weeks ago, he looked like a sack of potatoes, he rode like a sack of potatoes, but now he's laying down the law at the Tour." Or something to that effect.

2005. He made the comment after Klödi attacked at Col de La Schlucht and got beat by a millimeter by Weening. The year before Lance wanted to say *** you to everyone and beat him by an inch in the last mountain stage. Still bugs me to this day 😢

What blood type did he have, and does he still have some bags in the fridge? Asking for a friend.

Chapeau Roglic & Bora (big performance by Vlasov). Soler makes his claim for one of the many joint leaders at the Tour?!
If Gee and Lazkano can hang on then how tough was it? Which means how is Remco's shape? I think the happiest person after Saturday's stage might well be Pogacar.
Or he may think: "Oh no, it will be 3 boring weeks again!" And this time he can't enjoy the idea of getting a good pizza at end of the day too.

I understand Rogla but who is the 4th guy ?
If Vingegaard go, we have 4 big names for podium: Pogacar, Vingegaard, Remco and Roglic.
Pogacar is going to get very welll, Rogla came from and injutry, but I rhink he cant progress much more. Remco can progress much and Vingegaard maybe , meybe with some options, but not at last Tour level IMO, if he finally goes. There are another important names, for me especially Carapaz, but the route dont suits him very well this year.

If Vingegaard dont go or it is not at his level there are lot of names into the team to play for a podium...Jorgesson? He is now at his best, the rest can improve...He can do well, it is true, Rogic is not much better than him for one week race...Vingegaard ok is another level...Rogñic is going to improve, so, Jorsesson could do well, but not to win the race.
Kuss? he has been ill, and now is not good...but if he gert his levekl he can do well, I think Better than Jorgesson.
WVA. He is one of the 5 big names of cycling now (maybe in one year we have to put Lazkano there):p
The route is no bad for him, He can do very well at GC IMO, but Maybe he would have need an specific preparation for that since the winter.

If Vingegaard is not at his level it will be for Pogacar. Not easy, not like the Giro, but he can put 5 minutes at the second if he want. Remco can do it very well, he will be much stronger in 1 month than now, but it is his first Tour and he has to learn and he will suffer in some mountains.

And Remco's plan was always to lose the young jersey, so he can ride in the Belgian champs jersey instead. Let him sing you the song of his people

Confirmed that Taxus is ilmaestro's first cousin once removed. It was a case of a knees up mother brown between two brothers and two sisters years ago at the back of the dance hall under the shadow of the monument. English is their second language. They have been assimilated into civilised society. There was a boundary dispute years ago and the two families haven't spoken since. Lately, the two seem to have mellowed a bit, so I would suggest we give time time. There definitely seems to be froome for improvement.
