They have worked hard to eliminate all but 1 dom for Pogacar - it makes no sense to then let that 1 dom set the tempo, to give his teammates a chance to get back.

Todays grisha master plan looks like turning vingegaard into a dead man walking.

It seems that it isn't working anymore. Sure, at the Tour the team will be a bit stronger, still. It's not like they aren't hammering it here. All to no avail.

Sivakov is quite obviously pacing to keep Bardet in check for the stage win. Pogacar doesnt really need domestiques on this last climb.

He didn't get his own bottle, he got a bottle for Sivakov, then rode casually all the way to the front and handed it off and had a chat with him - to then casually slot back into position in the group.

Maybe you should have watched the race afterall?
