Tour de France weight Evenepoel isn't quite what I thought it would be.

At the same time his results are in line with last year. Only Lipo relegating him to 4th this time around in the dauphine.

I like evenepoel, but uphill he'll probably always be behind Pogacar and Vingegaard. He's gonna need to take time on mid-mountain stages. Find a way to raid those.

Tomorrow he will drop back just to get the chance to attack and drop Vingegaard again at the finish on flat roads.

I know reading facial expressions is a fool’s game but Pogacar looked so easy there while Vingegaard was dying on the bike. Pogacar was also checking his power meter the whole time it really looked like he was purposely riding within himself vs Vingegaard going all out.

So Teddy strikes again comfortably winning the queen stage, the GC win is very close now. Today Vingo was much closer and had a very good performance as well. Lipowitz is a revelation of the race but he probably paid a bit for following Vingo for too long. Remco far behind the mutants and the best of humans.
