Dennis is not a GC contender and Yates is doing La Vuelta, Porte said he is giving up GC.With TGH, Thomas, Carapaz and to a lesser extent Porte, Dennis and A. Yates, I still wonder who they will be riding for. I think they cannot afford to keep three or more riders protected.
No doubt.ISN will send Froome to the Tour. No way they miss out on the publicity after all the money they paid.
World of difference between the two egomaniacs Landa and Quintana and Superman and Mas. I really like this group, vamos Alejandro!!
Out of that group, it has to be Carapaz, with the only wild card being if Bernal decides he fancies it.With TGH, Thomas, Carapaz and to a lesser extent Porte, Dennis and A. Yates, I still wonder who they will be riding for. I think they cannot afford to keep three or more riders protected.

Youre right, thats too harsh. But case in point is it just didnt work at all with these guys, Lopez and Mas just comes across as much better team players.I don't think that Landa was a egomaniac. In the Movistar documentary, especially in the Giro, he came across as a team player, even though riding for Carapaz compromised his personal goals.
TGH seems ready to peak at the right time. I think he will be the strongest Ineo$ rider in July
Don't know if he'll be the strongest Ineos rider come July but it's nice to see him in good shape again and animating the race.

Bernal's been saying he won't be there and even if he is he'd be very unlikely to be in shape to compete for the win after the Giro.Out of that group, it has to be Carapaz, with the only wild card being if Bernal decides he fancies it.
Let's wait for the third season. This will be a nice one to watch in next year's Movistar doc.

I'm actually really impressed that Craddock managed to finish 5.55 behind Valverde. He must have got off and walked after they caught him.20 riders finished in the same time today. These riders should also be the strongest tomorrow and on sunday.
Here the team distribution:
Movistar Team 3INEOS Grenadiers 3Team Jumbo-Visma 2BORA - hansgrohe 2Astana - Premier Tech 2Cofidis, Solutions Crédits 1Team BikeExchange 1Team Arkéa Samsic 1Groupama - FDJ 1Team DSM 1Israel Start-Up Nation 1Bahrain - Victorious 1Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux 1
I know all that, but Bernal is still more likely to be Ineos' leader at the Tour than Porte or Dennis.Bernal's been saying he won't be there and even if he is he'd be very unlikely to be in shape to compete for the win after the Giro.
That is huge publicity whether we like it or not!I would question the value of that publicity, when it is 3 weeks of "why does your team suck?"

My exact quote was:I remember someone saying yesterday, that Skjelmose would drop a minute on the TT.
Are you worried yet?

Certainly true for Dennis but I could see a scenario where Porte becomes leader. One of those guys has an issue and loses time, another just isn't on form and Porte is...I know all that, but Bernal is still more likely to be Ineos' leader at the Tour than Porte or Dennis.
Sure, and Arkea is Armageddon now. It is past now and we only have the stories.I don't think that Landa was an egomaniac. In the Movistar documentary, especially in the Giro, he came across as a team player, even though riding for Carapaz compromised his personal goals.
Technically he isn't 1+ minute behind. My exact quote was:
"Then he can start praying Van Wilder has 2 punctures tomorrow, or he'll be looking at a 1+ minute deficit before they start climbing. "
Tomorrow they start climbing.

Paret-Peintre at 13s, I'll grant you. But the other 3 at 10 and 12 seconds behind that, that's not "small gaps," those guys got dropped. You should include the first 4 not in the same time (Paret-Peintre, O'Connor, Skjelmose, Aru) on that list.
They came in at the back of the group, but small gaps meant their time difference to Valverde counted.
We don't know that. They don't count behind the comma.Technically he isn't 1+ minute behind.
Dropped is such a subjective term.Paret-Peintre at 13s, I'll grant you. But the other 3 at 10 and 12 seconds behind that, that's not "small gaps," those guys got dropped.
The hundreds in the TT are in favour of SkjelmoseWe don't know that. They don't count behind the comma.
I bet you get invited to parties a lot!The hundreds in the TT are in favour of Skjelmose
