Hard to tell, as the official time schedule doesn't take terrain into consderation (they claim they will climb Joux Plane between 20 and 23 minutes, while in reality it's around 37...). But hopefully all of Joux Plane but probably not much more. I guess the speed will be high from the start today.

The need to play their cards very well

There is no point in Richie going up the road in breaks ..not his thing
And I cant see Geriant wanting to work for others after he feels he handed it to Bernal a few years ago

Ineos will need to use Carapaz very wisely . I think if he is in great form he can be a contender. He is the rider to send up the road with Kwaito also one to help

Keep Richie in reserve behind but what to do with Geraint.. He says he wants to be the sole leader ..so will he go off the front early ?

Time trialing, 1-2 (3...) attacking, counterattacking... I've mentioned during the Catalunya that they maybe don't have the strongest rider, but the squad's still mighty.
